Good morning everyone
With air quality/health of animals and humans
Besides your general weather apps here is a handy tool if you do not have your own sensor
SmokeWx is a handy app/tool available
It has total and surface area smoke forecasting
By the hour and into about 2-1/2 days forward
Here at WEC we are very fortunate that we have not peaked past 97 per many of the weather apps out there
Per our own sensor located right here we have been as low as 61 and have reach 95 over the last week
We will continue to monitor things moving forward

In anticipation of early arrivals tomorrow due to getting out of the smoke and leaving early due to traffic

Kathy will be opening the show office at 11:00 tomorrow morning

Mari will be watering and dragging arenas through the day
When you see the water truck or tractor approaching the ring you are riding in
Please move to another ring and let her keep maintaining and working the rings..

Sound check will be at 6pm ring 1

General info
No confirmed word from WSDOT on the Campbell Lake SR20 construction 🚧 project yet..
There is some lane work and shoulder work happening however the alternating one way traffic has not started has of today
Unfortunately the Navy will be flying OLF this week. Today their flight pattern is over the facility. Hopefully the rest of the week they will be on alternate flight patterns.
Time will tell.
As a reminder, the Coupeville arts and craft festival is this weekend along with the 5K race the preserve right here in Coupeville so pack your patience when planning on driving anywhere going to any restaurants or doing any sightseeing?

It’s time to decorate the flag that will represent your team for our end-of-season scavenger hunt! Gather your teammates, get creative, and design a flag that’s uniquely yours.

Then, at the WEC Finals, the adventure continues! Each team will set off on a scavenger hunt to find their own flag. It’s a fun way to celebrate teamwork, make memories, and wrap up an incredible season together.

We can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity on display in August and watch the excitement unfold at Finals!

Ok, this is what I know about the up coming SR 20 construction 🚧
I spoke with WSDOT this morning and as of today they do not have the exact dates of the “mid-august 19day 24/7 construction “ which will undoubtedly lead to lengthy back ups.
I am in hopes that next weekend will not be affected. However; I’m fairly certain the the OMT/SummersEnd wknd will be.
I should know more next Tuesday or Wednesday what the schedule is. But who knows for sure
I will let you all know next week what I am told
