Katie Harris is photographed with her Appaloosa. Harris made most of the horse trappings as well as her own traditional outfits herself, including the beadwork. Some of the trappings are passed down from older generations but the girls like to make their own to continue the tradition.

Hi All,
I'm now scheduling trail rides-$75 per person+tax.
Have the ability to take 3 riders max. Only one super beginner horse, and super beginner donkey, the others need an intermediate rider.
Lessons are $60 per hr. Lessons can include building confidence for you, or, your horse for a 2 hr session @ 250+ tax pp

Experienced riders may want to book longer rides, 2.5 hrs $150 PP+ tax, or, 6 hrs, bring your lunch. $350 +tax PP.
Booking rides, or lessons for Mondays and Wednesdays ONLY.
**for those of you here on Whidbey Island, I am also a WA Certified blood drawer. I am a mobile Phlebotomy Technician who also makes appointments for blood draws, fasting or, non-fasting. In home, business, or at Metamorphe Clinic in Langley. Scheduling for blood draws (includes processing samples) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I charge $ 40 + tax. For home, or business draws add .75 cents per mile one way.
I can deliver to LabCorps drop off, Quest drop off, Whidbey Health, or Island Hospital.

Come join us for a trail ride( limited to couples, or, 2 riders per ride) or sign up for lessons.
Lessons are given through Equestrian Crossings (eqx) a non profit adaptive riding program on our island. Find me at Equestrian Crossings here on fb! You’ll find me under “instructors”. EQX is a non profit organization. We are always looking for volunteers. You may not have any horse experience, and that’s fine, we’re sure whatever talents and, time you can give us, will be very useful. If you’d like to work with our horses, or students, we will help you learn, the horses will too!
I’ve been working with EQX for a few years now, and the students keep me coming back! It’s so much fun!
Please sign up to volunteer, or learn riding, horsemanship and, self discovery. Our horses are wonderfully kind sweet teachers.
Lessons are given two days a week, Wednesday’s at Whidbey Equestrian Center, in Coupeville, or, on Thursday’s at the Lloyd’s arena, at Rainshadow Ranch in Greenbank. Lessons begin April 1st, and go until the end of October. Sign up now and join us. Ages are 4yrs and up welcome.
