A Veterinary Technician (Veterinary Nurse) since graduating with my associates degree at Omaha College of Health Careers in 2000. Followed by my work at

the Nebraska Humane Society in the Animal Medical/Surgery Department, kennel care and Assessment Department. Skilled and experienced at medicating pets: giving pills, applying ointments; wound cleaning and bandaging; giving subcutaneous (SQ) fluids; injections of insulin for diabetic pets; cat nail trims, etc. Available for scheduled visits/dog walks 7 days a week from 6:00am to 9:00pm. Reliable and trustworthy. Clean and detail oriented. Excellent at communication. A skilled pet care giver and pet photographer. Kind and caring toward all animals. Skilled at reading dog and cat behavior. Skilled at bird, reptile, amphibian, fish, pocket pet and plant care. A US Navy veteran. (Aviation Electrician from 1993-1997)
A former farm kid. A native plant and insect enthusiast - just ask me, I’ll tell ya. A guardian of 3 rescued cats and one feral cat. I truly enjoy my job! Every single day. And I know how lucky I am to get to do this for a living. :)



I am not:
A groomer - though I know some great ones! Just ask! A dog trainer - once again, just ask! A Veterinarian. Available on-call or short notice. Available overnights or 24 hour in home care. The cheapest option. I am the most qualified option though. And I’ll be you and your pet’s favorite option! :)
