Weather Update for Our Pet Parents

We know many of you are keeping a close eye on the weather, and we want to assure you that everything is currently all good here at the kennel. Thankfully, the storms have passed both to the north and south of us.

We're continuing to monitor the situation closely. Once both storm systems have fully cleared the area, we'll be doing a full walkthrough to check everything and make sure all our furry guests remain safe and happy.

This video of Nala is a true testament of how dedicated our staff is to your dogs. Nala came in highly fearful and highly reactive. Every other kennel turned her away.
She was brought in on muzzle and we went to work right away. 5 days is how long she was no touch boarding. Today Jason got her to the park and she's now met Josh and myself (Joe).
She's an example of the exact reason we take these types of dogs. If we didn't, who would? This is a beautiful sight to see today!! Great job Jason and everyone!!

Mollie is a bernedoodle who struggled with leash reactivity. This was a huge breakthrough for Mollie and at the end she didn’t even care about any of the dogs going in and out! Yay Mollie!

Meet Jake – Our Resident All-Animal Whisperer!
If he’s not caring for the animals at S&B, he’s spending time with his own—fish, chickens, cats, dogs, snakes, lizards, and frogs! Almost all of them are rescues, because as he says, “Rescue over breeder, always.”
He’s been part of the S&B family since August, and we’re lucky to have someone so passionate about animals on our team!

Harleigh girl I am soooo incredibly proud of you. At 10 she is still high energy and has struggled with people/dog reactivity. Today Ramsey showed her walking near another dog isn’t so bad. Her leash skills have come so far I don’t think she will need the prong collar much longer.

Round 2 with Darby and Kona! Kona can be a bit reactive to dogs while walking so today we worked on that with my dog Ramsey and they did amazing! I didn’t get to record the record video with Ramsey but we encountered an off leash and I helped them with what to do and how to handle. Amazing session today!
