We’ve all been there! Here’s what to do when it’s mealtime but you forgot to thaw frozen raw food:

❄️If you have time, leave it out at room temperature! It’s recommended to feed the food within 3 hours of taking it out of the freezer.

❄️If you’re in a hurry, add some hot (never boiling) water to the food to speed up thawing or place the food in a bag and submerge it in hot water.

Rotating, or feeding a variety of food types and proteins, actually strengthens your pet’s digestion and builds a more adaptable, flexible gut. Eating a variety of foods encourages diversity in the gut microbiome, and research shows a diverse microbiome means better digestion, immune function, and less inflammation.
