CGRC Jackpot Barrels & Solo Cup Barrel Race!!
Saturday September 6th at Cottage Grove Rodeo Grounds.
Option to roll your times to the CGRC Buckle Series on September 7th.
CGRC Buckle Series Riders, we all know how long the last show took to get through 116 riders and I am expecting at least 125 at this next show.
Who would be interested in having a Jackpot Barrel Race on Saturday night September 6th, with your times from the Jackpot barrel race rolling over into your CGRC Buckle Series barrel class.
~You would still pay the $6 preregistration fee for the buckle series barrels entry, but you would also enter the jackpot barrels and only run 1 time on Saturday night. Your time would then be entered into both the buckle series and the Jackpot Barrel Race.
~Jackpot Barrel Race would be open to everyone not just Buckle Series contestants. Barrel pattern will be a WHO Pattern.
Just trying to come up with ideas to help things go quicker on Sunday for the show.
Thank you to all of the amazing Businesses and Generous people who have helped to sponsor all of our 8 & Under Peewee's at the CGRC Buckle Series this year.
We now have a staggering 32 PeeWee's entered into the series so we are looking for more sponsors. If you are interested in helping to sponsor these kids, please feel free to send me a message.
To all of our family and friends the best thanks we can give to these businesses that support the events we love so much is to support them back whenever possible.

CGRC Buckle Series Results
Ages 14-18, 19-39, 40 & Over, and Open Results!!
If you could please check out the results from both the July and August shows I would appreciate it.
I have all of the rolled times entered for this age group as well as indicating who has chosen to nominate by placing the letter N next to the name. Simply click on the link below each age division and show date to see the results.
CGRC buckle Series Age Group 9-13 Results
I have attached a link to the July and August 9-13 Age Division, again these should be all updated with all of the roll times that were requested. I also put an N next to every contestant's name who is nominated.
Please look all these over carefully and make sure it all looks correct for your child. I will continue working my way through all the roll times and post them as I have them ready.
Thank you!
CGRC buckle Series 8 & Under Results
Thank you to everyone who came out to the August CGRC Buckle Series yesterday. I know it made for a long day but thanks for sticking with us.
I have attached a link to the July and August 8 & Under Peewee divisions. These should be all updated with all of the roll times that were requested. I also put an N next to every contestants name who is nominated.
Please look all these over carefully and make sure it all looks correct for your child. I can make mistakes and if I have it is easier to fix now than later during a show or even worse after awards have been handed out.
Thank you again to everyone who came out I hope you all had a good time and I will continue posting results as I get them updated.

The Cottage Grove Riding Club(CGRC) held its first rodeo in 1947, at the Purdy Ranch in Lorane. It was an amateur event that was so successful that the club leased the 40 acre site, currently known as the rodeo grounds.
As time progressed, club members worked hard to build the grandstands, corrals, fences and track on that property and the club is now lucky enough to own those grounds. But without the support or our amazing community and local businesses, none of this would have ever been possible.
Every year, the rodeo grounds play host to numerous events, the highlight of which is the Cottage Grove Rodeo - held the 2nd weekend of each July. Our members work hard throughout the year keeping the grounds in working condition & securing wonderful sponsors - without the support of all of those folks, we would not be able to bring this annual tradition to Cottage Grove.
This year will be OUR 70TH ANNUAL and we are so excited to bring that to our spectator and competitors. There is so much work that needs to be done to update our facilities as well as provide and entertaining time for everyone.
If you have any questions, would like to become a member or a sponsor or simply donate to the Cottage Grove Riding Club, please feel free to contact us at your convenience.
