**CGRC Winter Series for November 30th update.
Due to the current EHV outbreak we will be cancelling the 2nd show in our Winter series on November 30th. We will be working with Oregon Horse Center to see what dates may be available in order to reschedule this show.
We will be sure to keep you all informed as soon as we have information.

The Cottage Grove Riding Club asks everyone to please keep this young lady, Teagan, in your thoughts and prayers. She was in a car accident yesterday and is now fighting her toughest battle.
Teagan is an incredible wrestler and horsewoman with so much promise and potential ahead of her. Now is our time to come together and support her and her family in their time of need.
Please lift them up with love, strength, and hope.
Teagan Merritt we cannot wait to have you back running those flags and chasing those cans!
Miss Eugene Pro Rodeo Queen tryouts are just around the corner. Packets are due by November 14th, if you are interested in trying out be sure to reach out to them as soon as possible.

The Cottage Grove Riding Club(CGRC) held its first rodeo in 1947, at the Purdy Ranch in Lorane. It was an amateur event that was so successful that the club leased the 40 acre site, currently known as the rodeo grounds.
As time progressed, club members worked hard to build the grandstands, corrals, fences and track on that property and the club is now lucky enough to own those grounds. But without the support or our amazing community and local businesses, none of this would have ever been possible.
Every year, the rodeo grounds play host to numerous events, the highlight of which is the Cottage Grove Rodeo - held the 2nd weekend of each July. Our members work hard throughout the year keeping the grounds in working condition & securing wonderful sponsors - without the support of all of those folks, we would not be able to bring this annual tradition to Cottage Grove.
This year will be OUR 70TH ANNUAL and we are so excited to bring that to our spectator and competitors. There is so much work that needs to be done to update our facilities as well as provide and entertaining time for everyone.
If you have any questions, would like to become a member or a sponsor or simply donate to the Cottage Grove Riding Club, please feel free to contact us at your convenience.
