This wonderful ballerina took care of her lessee this late spring and helped her qualify for CDS Junior Championships.

With their short time together, debuting at Flintridge, they scored almost a 65% for their first outing together.

As the rider goes back home (internationally), she will be available beginning of July.

Lesson Subject : Hot horse accepting leg and contact

I want to start sharing more content of what I work on with my clients at our home barn, and not only how we prep for the shows, but making the horse a happy and healthy athlete 💪🐴

📓Lesson Highlight : Claire has been working meticulously in finessing her leg and rein aid contact with her 🌶️ horse.

📓With a hot horse, they teach you to be consistent with your aids. It’s crucial that you keep a quiet yet effective leg, especially in transitions where they don’t get spooked and run faster from no leg contact to a sudden touch. Just even embracing with your calf on and off keeps the horse quieter and more settled to enter transitions will give you a smoother ride.

What an amazing show season. I feel so privileged to my clients who let me train, actually I really get to play, with their horses.

I learned so much through this show season, and it’s the first year where I was so fortunate to be so consistently active showing and it changed my riding completely.
