We are sorry to announce our expectant breeding no longer looks promising. No signs of Maple getting ready to have pups so unfortunately we’ll have to wait some more. If your on our list and want to remain let us know and if you want off the list, let us know that too. Sorry for the disappointing news and thank you for your understanding. Hoping for another breeding next time Maple’s ready.

This is the expectant Momma for our next litter due June 9. She loves smiling and obviously makes great facial expressions of all sorts. She loves protecting the kids and follows them everywhere. Everyone knows to make sure she knows your coming whenever checking up on the kids.

We would like to introduce Waylon. He is the expectant proud papa to the next litter. Not sure yet if momma will be Frosty or Maple.

Waylon is a 110 lb. big boy! He has been doing blind retrievals from the age of 6 months. He's a great family dog that lives to please and always enjoys a good day of hard work.

Did not realize today was National Puppy Day til we got this update earlier on a pup form the last litter.

“Just wanted to give you an update on the baby boy we adopted from you. He's been named Hoagie Sandwich and is always next to or playing with my daughter. He's doing awesome and we wanted to say thank you again!”

Here is an update on Otto we got today. He’s a Maple and Waylon pup. This is the biggest Chessie from our linage I am aware of. His owner states:

“He is such a good boy and very strong and huge 149 lbs. He has some manners to learn but he is a sweet heart! ” -Tresa

These are the last two male pups available. Both great dogs. The dominant male went to an experienced hunter yesterday and I'm excited to receive the updates on him. These both are quite mellow compared to some of their litter mates. Definitely very friendly and beginning to develop that particular protective chessie nature.

(Updated-All pups placed) Finally got these pups slowed down enough to take some decent pictures of the ones that are left. I missed out getting a pic of the deadgrass pup that left today. I've always been partial to the deadgrass color while my wife favors the darker brown usually. However, we both agree that Hudson has a great coloring which is technically brown but has some reddish sedge coloring to it as well.

(Update - reached goal of placing these pups) So, still getting used to Facebook. Our goal is to find some great homes for some males that are still available from our October 29 litter. Usually, all pups are long gone by now but we had 9 males and 2 females so the males have been going a little slower than expected.

We've enjoyed working with these guys as they grow and learning more about their personalities. However, they are ready for their new homes now so contact us if you would like to skip that early puppy stage and get one of these 3 month olds.

First post: Want to see some great pups looking for potential homes? You have come to the right place. Aspen and Frosty had these pups October 29, 9 males and 2 females.

There are currently 6 males available. More pictures will be coming this week. Here are some from their younger days. We have a variety of coloring from brown, sedge, to light dead grass. Definitely interested in these pups going to a hunting family or one that can enjoy the great outdoors with these terrific dogs.
