Good morning animal kingdom.
I just covered in class the definitions of communication and watch these two birds talk.
One is clearly the scout sitting higher, attentive and watching for predator signals.
The other, collecting Harvey hair for a nest and before flying away signals that they are done collecting.
Even watch the sentryā€™s eyes shifting and changing head positions to focus in on the other birds signal.

A year ago this month, March 2025 looked like this ā€” I started training with dog owners. Got accepted into OSUā€™s B.S. Animal Behavior program. Volunteered at the local shelter to enrich and socialize dogs. Got a picture of two old men, Dad & Finn šŸ¾. And looked at a lot of organisms under the microscope. A lot can happen in a month.
