Hello to all of our puppy families! It's been a while since I posted anything. I hope you and your fur babies had an amazing year and Merry Christmas! 2025 was more than challenging for us. My husband's cancer came back with a vengeance. It went from liver to lungs. He took chemo for a while but it affected all of his health conditions horribly. There was no going back and he passed away September 28, 2025. Since then, my son and I have been taking care of things best we can. Our mom's Chloe and Molly are doing well and enjoying their continued retirement. They are spoiled rotten and that's how it should be! We have no ambitions to raise puppies again at this time. I am so grateful to have met so many wonderful fellow dog lovers in the course of Poods & Doods. Hug your babies for me! Jayne

Happy New Year! I hope all of our puppy families have had a Merry Christmas! It was kind of lonely this year without our boy Finnegan. Miss Chloe and Miss Molly are doing well and enjoying the good life. They were spoiled this Christmas with new chewies. I tried a new company called Tika and Sammy's gourmet dog treats. I got each of them a large smoked bone. They cold smoke the bones and they are not supposed to splinter. The girls went nuts over them! So far no splinters and the bones are standing up very well to my aggressive chewers.
We are still dealing with health issues. All 3 of us have issues we are dealing with. But it's all good.
We don't have any plans to get back into having puppies in the future at this time.
Hug your fur babies and give them extra lovins from us!

I have very sad news to all our puppy families. Our beautiful sweet boy Finnegan crossed Rainbow Bridge the evening of Thursday May 23rd, 2 evenings ago. He somehow got to the highway, and our place is set back from the highway quite a ways. He was hit by a car. We rushed him to the vet where they evaluated him and did all they could. His injuries were just too much. We are devastated. Hug all your fur babies tight. You never know when something might happen you never thought would. Love to all our past puppies and families.

Hello everyone and Merry Christmas! I wanted to update you all on our situation. We are not breeding at this time due to health conditions in the family. I don't know if we will start up again or not. My girls have reached an age where I don't want to continue with them. They are not "old" by any means but they are retired. I have always said, we are not a "factory" and will only have pups when we feel it is right. Having said that, if I ever start up again it will be a new program. For now, Finnegan, Miss Chloe and Miss Molly are doing very well, spoiled rotten😂 and enjoying the good life. I will let everyone know if our situation changes, but for now we are concentrating on caring for each other and getting everyone back to health. Thank you SO much to all of our fur baby families. We still love pictures and puppy updates! Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy and healthy New Year! Jayne

Our last boy went to his new awesome home this morning. They have a long drive. He will live with his big brother Jackson. So happy! We are officially done. No more foreseeable litters. Time to concentrate on the humans here for a bit. We are so happy and grateful for all of our puppy families, and still love pictures and puppy updates. Love to all of you.

Our boys have found their forever homes! Yay! Thank you to all of our puppy families. Looking forward to the puppy updates and pictures. We are not planning any more litters. The girls are ready to retire and so are we. It's been a great ride! Will we in the future? Not that I can foresee now, but who knows? 😁 Hug those fur babies tight. We love each and every one.
