There are many choices when it comes to the care for your pets. We appreciate every one of our clients, but we also want to help others make safe choices, even if it's not booking with us.
The Pet Nannies was founded because the owner travels frequently and wanted her pets to be able to stay in the comfort of their own home. She also wanted to know who she brought in was not only giving exceptional care, but was trustworthy, responsible and reliable.
With that being said...Please be careful who you hire to come into your home and watch your fur babies. 😱We have seen an influx of "pet sitters" randomly posting on local pages.
Tips: Ask for background check. Verify they are insured AND bonded, request proof. Ask what happens if they have an emergency and are unable to make the visit. Ask what happens if your pet has an emergency and they can't reach you. What is their policy about bringing in other people to your home that you have not met? (Husband, kids, friends, trainees)
Also, what if the sitter just doesn't show, who do you call? You need a plan for those who work alone and do not have a back up.
Over the summer we had several furbaby parents reach out to us for help, and have heard so many scary things.
If you did not book your reservation thru us, and things go wrong, we try our best, but we can not guarantee we have anyone available to make a last minute visit. We are very busy ourselves, and don't always have a Nanny available.
A little info on our company:
🐕Bonded & insured when you book your reservation directly with us. (Please note when you book a pet nanny on the side without going thru us, we can not cover you, the Nanny or provide back up)
🐈⬛We have back up Nannies in case your Nanny absolutely can not make the visit.
🐩We have protocols in place for severe weather situations.
🐈You have direct contact with your Nanny, visit coordinator and owner throughout your reservation for any concerns or r

Planning a vacation is fun, but deciding on pet care while you're away can be stressful if you don't have a plan. There's boarding and kennels, but then you have to plan out taking and picking up, and if you have anxious pets---you know how upset they can be in new places!

Don't worry, we are fully licensed, insured and bonded, and we REQUIRE a meet and greet for ALL new clients---meaning you will get to meet your assigned nanny beforehand to make sure it's a good fit! You pick the visit length and set the terms--dogs need walked? Cats need played with? Medications? Special diets? Done, done and DONE!
Your pets will feel less stressed being in their own home environment, and so will you knowing that someone is watching over youer pets AND your home.
