I am so proud of this girl right now! She has anxiety and is doing quite well at her vet visit right now. She was put in a muzzle (precaution) and allowed the vet to give her two vaccines. She also allowed the tech to draw her blood. And when the muzzle came off, she was very happy to receive treats from her vet. We still have a long road ahead working on her anxiety, but I’m proud of this big win today!

Way to go Aspen!!!

It has been snowing all day! It definitely does not feel like Spring here in Kodiak. But at least it’s beautiful and the best kind of day to snuggle with the dogs ❤️

Good morning! So, I know my activity on this page has been minimal at best. I apologize for that. I am going to try and post more often. I know I don’t have a Labrador puppy to grow up at the moment, but there are lots of ways for me to continue and engage until that time comes!
For this morning, I’m going to leave you with pictures of our goofy, sweet, and slightly crazy Frenchie, Maya. The pictures of her in a surgery suit and cone are from being spayed and having her nares opened. Thursday will mark 2 weeks since the surgery (yay!)
This girl has helped me heal in ways I didn’t know I needed. Dogs…they are absolutely amazing!

Look at this 9 year old girl. She is getting so many wisdom hairs. They’re slowly creeping up the front and sides of her muzzle. We cherish every moment with this amazing girl that has brought so much to our family. Now, dont let those white hairs fool you! This girl will hold down the couch during the day, but can still go out and do a full day’s hike and hunt with her dad.

Bailey-boo, you are one-of-a-kind and we love you sooo much ❤️

These girls are great at holding the couch down 😂
I can’t believe Bailey is 9 and Aspen will be 2 in a couple of months. Time passes so quickly.

I’m definitely looking forward to adding another Lab to the pack, and maybe even another Aussie one day.

Look at how this boy has grown! This beautiful boy is Jager, from our last litter (Stoney X Bailey). He is smart, loving, and one happy boy. He is adored by his family and I am so thankful he is living his best life ❤️

Alana is on her way to her new family. They are so excited to meet her! My heart is a bit broken, but I am happy knowing she is going to a home where she will be loved. Have a safe flight sweet girl ❤️

Hello everyone!

I have been spending a large amount of time thinking about the present and the future. I have come to the decision that we are putting our breeding program on a hiatus until my husband retires from the Coast Guard in 3 years.

We are currently stationed in Kodiak, AK and trying to do anything dog related from this island, is difficult and expensive. I don’t have access to a lot of the resources I normally would which makes things extremely difficult.

We will not be getting another Lab until my husband is close to retiring. That being said, I will keep this page active with updates on the pets we have, adventures we are having with them, and much more.

Please hang with us and know that we WILL be back to raising, breeding, and performing with Labradors in the next 3 years.

We love you all and wouldn’t be where we are without all of you, especially our puppy families. Thank you all and stay tuned!

**ALANA HAS FOUND HER FOREVER FAMILY!!! Thank you to everyone who inquired about her. I am beyond excited for this sweet girl.**

It is with a very heavy heart that I say this sweet, funny, goofy, happy girl, will be spayed and needs to find a home.

Alana is a very happy girl who just adores people. We have taught her to hold a toy in her mouth to help her contain her excitement. No matter how many times she does something (like getting in bed with you), it never gets old. She acts like it’s the first time 😂 This girl is a perpetually happy dog.

She loves the outdoors, especially if you’re with her. She adores hikes, the beach, and any adventure you are inclined to go on.

Here are her flaws:
*She does not understand personal space. She wants to be as close to you as possible all the time.

*your feet will get hot! She believes she is your personal foot warmer regardless of whether you’re sitting on the couch or standing in the kitchen.

*she reminds you to slow down and enjoy life by being your personal Labrador speed bump. Watch your step!

*she eats p**p. This is probably the only serious flaw she has. If you have other dogs, you’ll need to make sure the poo is picked up or she will gladly help you in that department 🤢

I’m a couple days late posting this, but this beautiful girl turned 2! She brings so much laughter and light to our family. She loved all her presents (especially the treats).
