Be careful! Heat waves mean higher risk of heat exhaustion for our dogs. It can happen to anyone! Be cautious walking on hot surfaces like streets and side walks, avoid playing/exercises during the hotter parts of the day, and always be prepared to cool your dog down! Having water available is a good start but dogs need extra help when heat exhaustion occurs. Putting ice or cold materials on their stomach + under legs will help cool them off and keep them safe! 💙🐾
