Halloween is almost here! 🎃 We wanted to share a few important reminders to help keep you and your furry family members safe this season.

🎃 Special Halloween Hours
AAA Animal Hospital will be open on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

🐾 Halloween Pet Safety Tips

Keep candy away from pets: Chocolate, sugar-free candy containing xylitol, and other Halloween treats can be dangerous or toxic to pets.

Be careful with decorations: Keep wires, candles, glow sticks, and small decorations out of your pet’s reach.

Watch the doors: With trick-or-treaters coming and going, pets can easily slip outside. Keep them safely indoors and make sure their ID tags and microchip information are up to date.

Choose pet-friendly costumes: Make sure costumes fit comfortably and do not restrict breathing, movement, or vision.

Reduce stress: If your pet is frightened by doorbells, visitors, or costumes, provide a quiet, secure place where they can relax.
