Having so much fun with Nike. He’s such a chill guy and happy to please. At the end of our session we introduced walking around without a leader and even did a change of direction by ourselves!

Baby horse update!

Ava is on April vacation and offered to help Sandy and I at the barn. Today, I took advantage of her being here and had her help me with Fy and Nike. Fy has actually had someone sit on him in the past, but it’s been a while. As I expected, he was completely relaxed with the whole situation and more concerned about the treats in my pocket. This was the first time Nike has ever had a rider on him! It didn’t really surprise me that he was completely comfortable carrying a rider. So far he’s handled all new things with a wonderful attitude. Shout out to Ava for being so helpful and willing! These are the kids that keep barns running. 💛
