Last week we celebrated sweet Brady's SIXTEENTH birthday!!! Brady, the morkie in the festive gold hat, celebrated with all his friends including Tucker (the border collie mix) and Cooper (the yellow lab mix). Brady's even mom sent treat bags for all of his friends to take home in honor of his big day! 🥳

It was oh, so hot today...and tomorrow will be more of the same. If you decide to send your pup to daycare tomorrow (and we will TOTALLY understand if you choose not to), please know that your pup's outside time will be significantly shorter than usual. This heat is no joke, and prolonged exposure to heat like we've seen the last couple of days can make a dog very sick. It was a big day here at Happy Tails today! Our awesome friend Juliet turned the BIG 1-0 today!! Juliet has been coming here since she was a wee pup, so we have watched her grow up!

Fun Fact: Juliet is one of our 'evaluator dogs", which means she is one of the first dogs a new dog meets at Happy Tails. Juliet is incredibly balanced and easy going. And she is a very good friend! ❤

Juliet's mom and dad sent Pup Cups for all of her dog friends and delicious cupcakes for the human ones. Thank you, Juliet (and mom and dad) for all the amazing treats!!! We love you, sweet girl and are so happy we got to spend your special day with you!! XOXOXO

Then, we also belatedly celebrated our friend Chubbs, who celebrated his 5th birthday on April 17!! ❤ Chubbs' grandma sent treats for all his friends, doggie and human alike. Those cupcakes were delicious, and the dogs LOVED their treat bags. Happy Birthday, Chubbsy Bubbsy!!!! We love ya, buddy!! XOXOXO

Well, friends, this rain we've been having for the last several days is definitely taking a toll on our play yards. It is becoming a muddy mess, unfortunately. While the dogs tend to love it (I'm looking at you, Bucky and Monica 😆), most of our pet parents don't. So, we promise to get them as clean and dry as possible, but please realize they might not be as clean as when you dropped them off.

Stay safe and dry! Hopefully all this rain will bring some gorgeous flowers! 🤞

PLEASE NOTE
Due to the large number of boarders that will be staying with us for the Thanksgiving holiday, daycare will be closed Wednesday-Friday (Nov. 27-29) next week. Daycare will re-open Monday, December 2.
