While we’re all freezing when we go outside, Norma Jean, is happy running around playing in the grass. She can’t have a hair cut, as bad as she needs one, until this weather warms up.

We have some new neighbours and their granddaughters visit them almost daily. They met Norma Jean the first day they were here and a new love affair has been made. The only problem we have is Norma Jean doesn’t know to be afraid of anything. As the little girls said “Norma Jean is so sweet and fluffy”. Of course we think she’s the best puppy ever. Don’t tell her she’s a dog, She thinks she’s a Diva!

I see where people are looking for puppies or other dogs to re-home. Norma Jean wouldn’t take to kindly to that. She knows she’s the Diva at this house and she’s not rolling over. How would your pets feel about that?

Norma Jean thinks it’s pretty hot outside these days. She still likes to go out in the morning and chase her ball for exercise. What do her friends think about thunder and fireworks? Norma Jean is terrified of both and will hardly go outside to potty. She knows she’s the Diva at our house and wherever her human daddy is, is where you’ll find her. Norma Jean is a free feeder and has weighed the same amount to the ounce for 2 years in a row.

Norma Jean has been in the cooler indoors “hot weather,lately. She will be needing a good grooming soon. We’re been to 4 different one and we’ve not be happy with anyone. Please sent your recommendations. We can travel to Cullman to Decatur or to Homewood or even to Vestavia.

Norma Jean is growing up to be such a sweet young lady. She has no plans of being alone. She makes every step David Payne does and if he isn’t here she’s my little girl. She has a large kennel and we leave the door open. Sometimes she will walk in and take a nap. If we’re taking a nap or in bed for the night, she’s right here with us. If she gets up to close to us we’ll start rubbing her legs and she quickly gets over that and goes straight to the foot of the bed. She’s fallen in line with David Payne and I. He sleeps on his side of the bed, I sleep on my side and Norma Jean sleeps in the middle. We’re in love and such a girl dog couple. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Norma Jean has been on a Christmas Vacation. It'll be back to home as usual in the morning. We've had a wonderful time, but there's no place like home.

Norma Jean went for her second set of shots this morning. She has an ear infection 😷😷 so they cleaned her ears and gave us some drops to put in her ears. Three weeks ago when she went for her first visit she weighed 8 lbs. Today she weighed in at a whopping 14 lbs. Baby girl isn't missing any meals! Other than her ear infection she is doing great!
