🐾💚With All My Heart… A Goodbye to My Grooming Family 💙🐾
After so many years of grooming, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to my amazing clients and the wonderful community that has supported me and Wizard of Paws Pet Grooming. I’m moving to Arkansas to begin a new chapter in my life, closer to my family.
And while I’m excited for what’s ahead, my heart is absolutely breaking leaving so many of you behind. 💔
You see, you weren’t just customers.
Your dogs and cats became part of my everyday life. I knew their personalities. I knew which ones were going to try to eat the dryer hose 😂, which ones needed a little extra reassurance, which ones would give me that look like, “What in the world are you doing to me?” and which ones would practically dance when they saw me.
I watched puppies grow into old souls. I got to know generations of pets from the same families. I was there for first haircuts, fresh starts, big transformations, and sometimes those difficult goodbye grooms when a beloved pet was nearing the end of their life.
And somewhere along the way, you all became family to me.
There are dogs I have groomed for years whose faces I can picture without even thinking about it. There are some I have loved so much that they felt like my own.
And I’m going to miss them.
I’m going to miss YOU.
I’m going to miss the conversations, the laughs, the stories you shared with me while dropping off your babies. I’m going to miss seeing your vehicles pull in my driveway. I’m going to miss those familiar little faces coming through my door.
I’m even going to miss the chaos. 😂❤️
I never imagined that something that started as my little grooming business would become such a meaningful part of my life. You trusted me with members of your family, and that is something I will never, ever forget.
Some of you have been with me for so many years that I honestly don’t know what my life would have looked like without you.
And to those of you who drove a little farther, waited for appointments, recommended me to your friends and family, brought your pets back to me year after year, or even came back after YEARS because you remembered and loved the way I groomed your baby…
You have no idea what that meant to me. 🥹❤️
I know this is the right time for a new chapter, but that doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier.
So I don’t really want to call this goodbye.
I want to call it thank you.
Thank you for trusting my hands with your babies.
Thank you for trusting my heart.
Thank you for supporting my small business.
Thank you for allowing me into your lives.
Thank you for every hug, every smile, every tip, every kind word, every referral, every Facebook comment, every picture you sent me afterward…
And thank you for every single furry face that walked through my door.
Wizard of Paws wouldn’t have been what it was without all of you. 🐾
I am taking so many memories with me to Arkansas. And although I’m leaving Illinois, I am NOT leaving behind the love you all gave me.
That comes with me. ❤️
I hope every one of you knows just how grateful I am that our paths crossed.
Please give your babies an extra hug from me.
And if you ever see a groomer in Arkansas who looks completely overwhelmed by a giant fluffy dog, just know…
I probably trained for this for 14 years. 😂🐾
