As we are sure many of you have seen the post about us going around and we only thought it was right for you to hear our side of the story. First let us start by saying Lucy was the sweetest girl and we are truly heartbroken by her passing. She was a joy to groom and even making biscuits while being groomed. Despite the rough conditions she was brought to us in being one of the most matted cats we have groomed she was a joy and such a great cat to groom. Let us be clear there was NOTHING we did to hurt or harm Lucy. Lucy was brought to us extremely matted and ungroomed. We did everything we could to make her grooming experience as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately instead of communicating with us the passing of Lucy and seeing how her groom went, one side was posted on social media and that is how we found out. The groom went so well we were flabbergasted and heartbroken to hear the news and had no reason to even think anything would have been wrong with Lucy. We have requested an autopsy from her vet to know what really happened. This is a very unfortunate situation and unfortunately times like this are where people get together and share their negative experiences. We strive to do a good job and make everyone happy but we are human and unfortunately do drop the ball sometimes. To all who have reached out and know how much we love to care for your pets THANK YOU. We love our clients and appreciate you all so much. As sad as the situation is we know we have a great team and loyal clients that will understand and help us get through this. We are eagerly awaiting the autopsy results to get this cleared up. Our hearts go out to Lucy's family and are truly sorry for her passing.
