Summer is almost over and the school is almost here. Celebrate both with a Bark to School Doggie Daycare Bash at Collierville with treats for pups AND humans! 🥳

On Wednesday, July 30th all Collierville Doggie Daycare pups will be treated to a complimentary PUP-sicle. Their human parents can also get a treat from Mr. Perry's Ice Cream truck in our parking lot from 10am to 2pm! 🍦

Dr. Earl and Veterinary Assistant Maddie had the honor of seeing 4 shih-tzu puppies for their very first vet visit! Dr. Earl had her hands full with these adorable babies while she gave them all thorough exams and their first vaccine boosters. 🤎

Did you know that itty bitty puppies like Kloe here can be at risk for dangerous hypoglycemia or low blood sugar? 🤔 Very small breed puppies are prone to this because they have higher metabolism rates that burn through glucose (sugar) fast and limited energy stores like fat and muscle mass resulting in difficulty maintaining their blood glucose levels.

This causes them to become very weak, lethargic, have seizures and can even lead to death.

Feeding small, more frequent meals and keeping them warm can help prevent this as they grow and their bodies learn to regulate their glucose on their own!

If they need an exam, medication, injections, etc., our Collierville and Lakeland veterinarians are here 7 days a week! With a veterinarian on site, we also provide peace of mind should your pet start not feeling like themselves. 💙

Former Veterinary Assistant Haley is now starting externships during vet school! 👩‍⚕️ We're thrilled to host externs like Haley to give them hands-on experience while being closely mentored by our veterinarians. Haley recently got to participate in repairing a fracture in a tiny patient with Dr. Madison!

It may be a little blurry, but it was clear that Dixie only had eyes for Dr. Madison. She recently celebrated her 9th birthday with us and Dr. Madison made sure she got a celebratory treat! 🎂 We love being able to celebrate your pet's milestones with them! 🥳
