Since when is kindness "CONTRABAND?" They are building a world where compassion requires a permit... and denying all the applications. Look at the pattern. Really examine it. Once you see it, you can't unsee it:
They force data centers into communities that voted against them, that attended meetings, that begged to be listened to; and still, they bulldoze their way in. Public opinion doesn't matter when there's money to be made.
They attach surveillance devices to every pole and doorway: cameras, readers, and sensors, despite the protests and the privacy (we’re told we’ve already given up.) They monitor everything. Except what truly matters.
They make homelessness a crime; not the circumstances that lead to it, but its very existence. They conduct sweeps at dawn. Belongings end up in dumpsters. When neighbors try to help? Feeding people is treated as a threat, too. Volunteers from Food Not Bombs get arrested for sharing meals. Handcuffs for handing out soup. That's our reality.
In the same breath, by the same reasoning, they target those who feed the cats. The pattern never changes.
This isn't a random mix of laws. It's a mindset: Care that doesn't make a profit is seen as a nuisance to be removed. Feeding a hungry person on the street and feeding a hungry cat in an alley are punished by the same instinct; the instinct that views unapproved kindness as a threat to order. That mutual aid is chaos. That community without business involvement should be erased.
They have endless resources for watching us, but none for supporting us. They'll build a billion-dollar server farm despite your objections, but they’ll arrest you for having a bag of cat food and a humane trap.
So here’s the truth: If feeding the hungry is a crime, then lock us up. If sheltering and protecting those without homes is a crime, then lock us up. If trapping, neutering, and returning the cats no one else will help is a crime, then lock us up.
The feeders. The trappers. The transporters. The meal-sharers. The ones who show up at dawn with a bowl and a blanket, expecting no thanks.
We are not the disorder. We are the last working system of care in a society that has forgotten the concept. Beyond partisan politics, we must all come together.
They label existence a crime. The same with compassion. We call it the only thing keeping the world together. If compassion is forbidden, consider us smugglers. We won’t ever stop. When they criminalize any form of existence: WE MUST ALL RESIST!
