I thought for sure I would be sending this ultrasonic toothbrush back but it 100% works to remove tartar. Just amazing!

I used it on Shasta and Reagan this afternoon. Copper is a no go. That’s ok though because just between Shasta and Reagan I’m going to save thousands of dollars!

Brush your puppies teeth now with the tooth brush and they will be more receptive to the ultrasonic brushing. It is noiseless until it touches the teeth. I even tried it on myself first. The noise is similar to a dental cleaning for a human so it’s going to seem very loud to a canine with sensitive hearing. If they are not used to regular teeth brushing they probably won’t take to this.

Said goodbye today to lil Sable Girl.

We are going to miss her extra because we started to get attached, but we know she is going to a furever home where her new Pom Dad who recently lost his beloved Pom of 20 years is going to spoil her with love. 💕

Yesterday we said goodbye to Dulce and today we said goodbye to Chloe. I thought I’d also be saying goodbye this weekend to our littlest blue sable, but her buyer fell through at last minute. 🐾🏡She is available to an approved home.

She is the smallest of the litter and has a more laid back temperament. She has had her first round of Core Vaccination and a clear bill of health certified by a veterinarian.

We will miss you here with us and your Dog Mom, but we are super thrilled your not far away at all and we will get to see you here and there. You are super sweet Chloe and so is your new family. We know you will be loved and cared for very much. Your very existence has made a very special young lady so very happy. You are her new responsibility but also her new companion and best friend for life and she’s ready for you! You’ll be so loved and treasured by her like a gift from God. Respect and appreciation for the veterinarians that speak out on behalf of our beloved fur children.

Big Pharma is big buisness even in the dog world. As a loving dog parent we want to do what is best for our furchildren. Learning about which vaccines to give and not give and “when” to give is a good place to start when caring for your lil Pom Pom shaker.

It still makes me upset when I hear of yet another dog who is going in for their "yearly vaccines". But then I wonder - are people aware of titers? 🩸

Vaccine antibody titer tests are an AMAZING tool (a simple blood test) that your veterinarian can use to measure the level of antibodies in your dog's bloodstream for specific diseases, such as distemper, parvovirus, or rabies.

By measuring the antibodies, we are able to see if we in fact do need to re-vaccinate, and therefore reduce the risk of over-vaccinating our dogs.

PS: Studies have shown that parvo and distemper have a minimum duration of immunity of 7 years by challenge!
