So yesterday was a tough day!
Cici went to her new retirement home.
It hi me harder than I thought it would, Cici over the years have gone to friends of friends for weeks at a time. She would regularly go stay with a groomer that would use her for grooming competitions!
She is such a great dog! And she will give Jennifer lots of that love! The good thing is she is just 15 minutes away!
As a breeder we do rehome our dogs that we have in our breeding program! I must do this to be able to continue to breed great dogs!
I currently have 15 standard poodles that all live in my house with me! I don’t have “kennel” dogs!
The joys of breeding are, the birth of puppies, puppies going to new homes, winning in the confirmation ring, watching my dogs compete in retriever trials, having them in the house with me!
The sadness,- the loss of puppies, i have been lucky i have only lost a few puppies over the years!, and rehoming great dogs,


We have 5 babies poodles to day! It was a long day! And my most stressful yet! We started at 0530! Had 3 pups by 7:30am,...

We have 5 babies poodles to day!
It was a long day! And my most stressful yet!
We started at 0530! Had 3 pups by 7:30am,
At noon we took a trip to the vet because we had no progression and no signs of labor!
X-rays and everything looked good, one pup in each “horn”. So we went home and with some Pitocin at 2pm, we had the last 2 puppies by 2:45pm.
Now we have 5 healthy puppies!
2 boys- brown, brown & White they both already have homes!
3 girls - 2 black & white, and one that looks black but you can see brown in her, she may be a phantom.

2 more weeks of Odin’s meals in the freezer! Only took about 2 hours this time!
