Meet Walker 🐾

Walker is an adorable tabby kitten with the sweetest face and an even sweeter personality. Born alongside his littermates in a home where the conditions were sadly deplorable, Walker’s start in life was far from easy. Thankfully, his devoted mama never gave up on her babies and did everything she could to care for them until Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR was alerted to the situation and rushed in to rescue this deserving little family.

Now safe and thriving, Walker is discovering just how wonderful life can be. This handsome boy is full of love, curiosity, and kitten charm. He enjoys playing with toys, exploring his surroundings, and then settling down for cuddles when playtime is over. His gentle nature and affectionate personality make him the kind of kitten who quickly becomes everyone’s favorite friend.

Walker has a way of making people smile with his playful antics and loving purrs. Whether he’s chasing a toy mouse, wrestling with his siblings, or snuggling up beside you for a nap, he is always ready to brighten your day.

Mara 🤍

Mara is one of those cats you don’t forget.

She was found outside an apartment building in the middle of a winter storm, curled around her two babies, doing everything she could to keep them safe. A kind tenant took the kittens in—but Mara was left behind. That’s when we were called.

We brought her into the rescue, but it’s clear life hasn’t been gentle with her.

Mara is incredibly sweet. She’ll roll onto her back, exposing her belly, quietly asking for love… but when it comes close, she gets scared. Not a single mean bone in her body—no hissing, no swatting—just a girl who wants affection but doesn’t quite know how to accept it yet.

In a busy foster home with other cats, it’s all just too much for her. She keeps to herself, overwhelmed and unsure. But underneath that fear is a soft, loving soul that wants to trust again.

Mara doesn’t need perfection—she needs patience. A calm home. A quiet space. Someone who understands that love doesn’t always happen overnight.

We truly believe that once she feels safe, Mara will blossom into the affectionate, devoted companion she’s meant to be.

I love her heart ❤️! As we were both “done” for the night, Marissa sees a post about a very thin cat on a ladies porch and she was unable to bring the cat in. Marissa called me and said, “Mom, this cat needs help! I have to go get it. Get a cage set up.” So, she did and I did and we will keep everyone updated. We will check the cat for a chip in the morning. 🙏🏻

Meet Winston 💙

If ever there was a cat who deserved a second chance, it’s Winston.

This gorgeous gray and white Persian boy has been through more than any cat should. We suspect Winston was picked up y an hawk and carried far from where he originally lived ( he’s very small,) then abandoned in an area where no one was looking for him and few people cared. A woman allowed him to stay on her front porch and provided the bare necessities, but as time passed, Winston’s condition continued to decline.

Thankfully, the woman’s sister saw that Winston desperately needed help and contacted Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue, despite opposition from her family. It was a decision that likely saved his life.

When Winston arrived, he was in heartbreaking condition. His coat was so severely matted that the mats had tightened against his skin and actually torn it open in several places. He couldn’t even turn his head from side to side without pulling at the painful wounds. He was suffering from an upper respiratory infection, flea dermatitis, and was urinating blood. Despite everything he had endured, Winston never stopped being sweet.

We immediately got to work, providing the medical care he desperately needed, including a lion cut to remove the painful mats. While his signature Persian coat isn’t visible in his current photos, don’t worry—his luxurious fur will grow back beautifully!

What has amazed us most is Winston’s incredible spirit. Beneath that adorably grumpy Persian face is one of the sweetest, most loving cats you’ll ever meet. He adores attention, enjoys being loved on, gets along wonderfully with other cats, and still has a playful side that shines through.

Winston is estimated to be around 3 years old and is finally discovering what it feels like to be safe, comfortable, and cherished. Now all he needs is a forever family who will love him for the rest of his life.

After everything he’s survived, Winston is more than ready for his happily ever after. ❤️

We received a text today from an elderly man asking us to come take 7 kittens that he had on his porch and they were beginning to get very active and were in danger. This is a home that we have tnr’d around 20 cats. We have removed more litters than I can count. The wife has dementia and doesn’t want us to trap the female cats for some reason. She thinks it will be too traumatizing. I spoke to her again tonight explaining why they need to be fixed and she seems to be on board but will not withhold food. Now, I could tell them I’ll take no more kittens unless you let me TNR the mamas, but these poor babies would have been killed. The last litter we rescued from them, before we could get there, two of the littermates had been killed. The three we did rescue went straight to MedVet, as they were so sick with respiratory infections. It’s a very tough situation. So, Welcome to Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR 7 little ones. Thank you to Julia Moore for getting her foster room ready at a moments notice. We couldn’t do what we do without the kind hearts ❤️ of our foster homes!

Perry & Paisley – A Bond Written in Love 💙💗

Some bonds are formed by choice. Others are formed by survival.

Perry and Paisley’s story began outdoors, where they, their sister Pixie, and their mama struggled to survive after being born outside. Thankfully, Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR was able to rescue the little family when the kittens were still very young. Sadly, not long afterward, their precious sister Pixie crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

In the wake of that loss, Perry and Paisley leaned on each other for comfort, companionship, and love. Since then, they have become absolutely inseparable. They eat together, play together, nap together, and explore the world side by side. Wherever one goes, the other is never far behind.

These two are everything you could want in a kitten pair—playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly entertaining. Whether they’re chasing toys, wrestling with each other, or snuggled up for a nap, Perry and Paisley bring joy wherever they go. Their favorite place is curled up together, proving every day just how special their bond truly is.

Perry and Paisley are both FIV positive and FeLV negative.

FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is often misunderstood. FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy, happy lives with proper care and a strictly indoor only life . The virus is primarily spread through deep bite wounds or reproducing, which is why it is most commonly seen in unneutered outdoor cats. It is not spread through casual contact such as sharing food bowls, water bowls, litter boxes, grooming, or cuddling.

Because of this, veterinarians and feline experts agree that FIV-positive cats can safely live with FIV-negative cats in peaceful households where cats get along. Indoor only FIV-positive cats enjoy lifespans comparable to those of FIV-negative cats.

Perry and Paisley have already overcome more than most kittens ever should. Through loss, uncertainty, and change, they found comfort in one another. Now they’re looking for a family willing to open their hearts to both of them and give them the forever home they deserve.

After everything they’ve been through, we simply can’t imagine separating them.

Hi, I’m Gus! 🤎🐾

I may be little, but I’ve already been through quite an adventure!

My brothers, sisters, and I were found outside in a backyard after several storms had passed through the area. A kind man discovered us and did everything he could to keep us safe, making us a little shelter with a tote on a concrete slab. While he meant well, the outdoors can be a scary place for tiny kittens. Thankfully, the wonderful people at Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR heard about us and came to our rescue as quickly as they could.

Now those stormy days are behind me, and I can focus on what I do best—being an adorable kitten!

I’m a handsome little tabby boy with a sweet personality and a heart full of love. I’m curious about everything and always ready to see what’s happening around me. Whether I’m chasing toys, wrestling with my siblings, exploring every corner of the room, or trying to convince someone to give me extra pets, I make every day an adventure.

I’m the kind of kitten who can make you smile without even trying. One minute I’m zooming around playing, and the next I’m curled up in a cozy spot, looking as innocent as can be. I love people, I love attention, and I’m always happy to be included in whatever is going on.

Most importantly, I absolutely adore my brothers and sisters. We’ve been together through everything, and we’re the best of friends. Because kittens thrive when they have a feline companion, I need to be adopted with one of my siblings—Harry, Aurora, Megan, Teddy, or Hayden. Having a built-in best friend means twice the fun, twice the snuggles, and a lifetime of companionship.

Hi, I’m Hayden! 🩶🧡🤍🐾

If you’ve never met a dilute tortoiseshell kitten before, prepare to fall in love! With my gorgeous fluffy coat brushed with soft shades of gray, cream, and peach, I’m as unique on the outside as I am on the inside.

My story began with my brothers and sisters in a backyard, where a kind man found us and tried his best to keep us safe. Thankfully, the caring people at Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR learned about us and rushed to bring us to safety.

Life has been pretty wonderful ever since! Instead of worrying about storms, I spend my days doing all the things kittens should do—playing with toys, chasing my siblings, climbing on anything I can find, and then curling up for a nice nap when I’ve worn myself out.

I’m a sweet, gentle girl with a playful side. I love attention and enjoy being around people, but I also have a calm, easygoing nature that makes me a joy to be around. Whether I’m batting at a toy mouse or snuggling up beside you, I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by love.

My siblings and I have been through a lot together, and we share a very special bond. Because of that, I need to be adopted with one of my brothers or sisters—Aurora, Megan, Harry, Teddy, or Gus.
