Buckley Farms is hosting another ETXSH Clinic the end of this month March 29th Clinic with Nathan Wells & Wells Performance Horsemanship located at Buckley Farms - 13730 Co Rd 577, Anna TX 75409.

Nathan brings with him the judicial eye of an Accredited ASHA Judge & experience coaching the East Texas A&M University Stock Horse Team. He runs his horse training and lesson program out of Whispering Oaks Farm and Ranch in Cooper, Texas and has been a long time member, clinician, judge, coach, & supporter of ETXSH.

You often find Nathan cheering everyone on as you walk through the gate offering last minute words of wisdom for all our competitors. Now let him give you & your horse a boost of confidence in your Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, & Ranch Pleasure skills at this clinic!

Unfortunately, the April 12th Clinic with Bozo Rogers is going to be rescheduled for a later date. I've let everyone who contacted me about riding know, but I wanted to post so that anyone interested in auditing the clinic would know. We'll let everyone know when we confirm a date in the future! Saturday - April 26th 9am-4pm

🔴Are you new to horses?
🔴Do you have a new horse that you are struggling with?
🔴Does your horse have behavioral issues that keep getting worse?
🔴Have you ever had trouble catching your horse?
🔴Is your horse hard to load into a trailer?
🔴Is your horse difficult to bridle?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this clinic is for you! Nathan Wells will cover a variety of topics that are common to many horse owners, beginner to experienced.

Nathan will spend the first part of the day working with you and your horse on the ground. This is not a "ground work" clinic, but the goal is to develop successful habits to help you enjoy your horse more.

The second part of the day will be spent riding in the arena to help you get more comfortable in the saddle.

NOTE: This is not a c**t starting clinic. Your horse needs to be rideable and you need to have ridden the horse you bring to the clinic at least a few times before the day of the clinic.

What's better than a beautiful day?

A beautiful day of showing horses with a great group of people!

Congratulations to Wells Performance Horsemanship team members Kaylee and her horse Toby who won a second place at her first horse show! Way to go Kaylee!

Maria had a great show bringing home top five placings in multiple classes with both mares! Great job!

A huge thank you to Whispering Oaks Farm & Ranch and show Mom Extraordinare Pamela Campbell Marley for all the support and assistance! We could not do it without y'all!
Great to see Karen Heinzig and JoAnn Harrison who came out to enjoy the day with us!

Also, thank you to the crew at Arrowheart Ranch for putting on a great show and the jump start to get us home!

I'm blessed to have the opportunity to work with great people and I'm looking forward to next time!

Getting geared up for 2025 and the upcoming show season? Let me help you and your horse get ready!
My lesson dates for the next few months (January-April) will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons starting at 3 pm. I will have some occasional Tuesday and Thursday afternoon times available after 6 pm.
Lessons are at Whispering Oaks Farm & Ranch in Cooper, TX. We have an indoor arena and large outdoor arena with lights.

Wells Performance Horsemanship is offering lessons on your own horse at Whispering Oaks Farm and Ranch in Cooper, TX. Lessons are on general horsemanship, but are catered to the rider's interests and skill level.
Starting in January 2025 lessons will be Monday, Wednesday afternoons starting at 3 pm. We have an indoor arena and outdoor arena with lights available.

Rates are $100 for a 1 1/2 hour introductory lesson, then $75 per hour afterwards. Lesson packages available as well.
Discounts for groups of 2-3 people.
