We have two age groups 8-11 and 12-15

Participants will learn about the way the shelter works, animal care, help with cleaning or organizing to keep the shelter running smoothly for staff.

Alright, gather 'round, folks, and prepare to be amazed by Babe! This 8-year-old lady is ready to moo-ve into your heart (see what we did there? Wait for it...).

Now, let's be honest, Babe is… well, let's just say she's got a little extra insulation for those chilly Tennessee nights. Or maybe for every other Tuesday. Her previous humans, who sadly had to surrender her due to the ever-increasing cost of, well, everything (especially, we suspect, Babe's treat budget), can attest to her… enthusiasm for snacks. We're pretty sure she believes "diet" is a fancy word for "delaying the inevitable deliciousness."

As you can see from her stunning close-up (where she's clearly sniffing out your deepest secrets, possibly treat-related), and her udderly fantastic cow cosplay, Babe is a dog of many talents, the main one being stealing hearts (and maybe the occasional unattended crumb).

The good news is, despite her robust physique, Babe is a gem! She cohabitated peacefully with a cat named Chance (who is also looking for a loving home, but they don't have to be a package deal unless you're feeling extra generous). She's also a big fan of the small humans and is a certified graduate of the Housebreaking Academy. Plus, she struts her stuff like a pro on the leash – think gentle, dignified waddling.

So, if you're looking for a dog who offers maximum cuddles, is friendly with cats and kids, won't leave you any… ahem… surprises on the carpet, and is ready for some leisurely strolls (followed by a well-deserved nap), then Babe might just be your soul-mate in a slightly squishier package. Adopt today – your treat jar might need a lock, but your heart will be wide open!

🎉 Huge Thank You to the Tennessee Tech Softball Team! 🥎💜

We are incredibly grateful to the amazing ladies from the Tennessee Tech Softball team who went above and beyond for our shelter! Not only did they host a donation drive, but they also delivered several full pallets of food bags and helped us load everything into our storage shelves. 💪🐾

As if that wasn’t generous enough, they also sponsored part of the adoption fees for one of our sweet pups — Dutchess! She’s currently in a foster home since our shelter is full so visiting her is appointments only, and now her adoption fee is just $120!

Let’s find Dutchess her forever home 🏡💖
