The CN Railroad will be completing work on a railroad crossing on CSAH 87 (Leander Rd E) near the City of Cook beginning on Monday, September 29. Leander Rd E will be closed to thru traffic for the duration of the week. The crossing is located between CR 951 (Heel Rd) and CR 427 (Angora Rd).

The recommended detour uses U.S. Highway 53, Hwy 1 and CR 421 (Sassas Rd).

A pregnant french bull dog came into the clinic this afternoon and we delivered 6 puppies by Cesarean section! We had Santa's little helper here today and here she is posing with two of them. As far as naming them, we thought Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, or Blitzen might be appropriate. But, that's up to the owner.
