JEWELWEED! This medicinal plant generally grows near poison ivy, as it breaks down the oil so you don't itch. It is like an all-natural cortisone and is great for bites, itching. I am infusing it so we can get back to making our jewelweed soap. I miss my own personal salve that I use for EVERYTHING! The flower is pretty, related to impatiens.

Ok, new soap that was recently cut is our Lavender/Chamomile Goat milk soap. Have you ever tried this one? I originally made this for a friend having a shower for a baby. We thought the lavender would be good for calming and chamomile. Gentle enough and it certainly does the trick. It smells absolutely delicious and it is a nice creamy soap. Very gentle for all skin types.
