Helen is a blind, sick, and abandoned momma dog who was saved by a fellow local rescuer, Kelly. Two rescue groups originally offered to help, but both backed out, leaving Kelly to cover all of Helen’s medical needs on her own. Sadly, Helen began having seizures. They were being managed with medication, but things have taken a turn, and she now needs to see a neurologist and have an MRI at CVETs in Columbia. Her appointment is TOMORROW at 2:30PM, but Kelly is still $3,200 short. Hi, I’m Bruiser!
Yes, I know, I sound like a tough guy—but really, I’m 60% marshmallow, 30% cuddle bug, and 10% confused cat.

I’m about 3–4 years young, potty trained like a gentleman, and I’m cool with crates (though I’d rather be snuggled up with YOU, obviously). I’m fully vetted—vaccinated, neutered, and heartworm negative, which I think means I’m basically a deluxe model.

I like other dogs just fine, but let’s be honest: people are where the party’s at. I’m all about that snuggle life. Want a buddy to binge-watch shows with? I’ll be on the couch… actually, I’ll be on the back of the couch. Like a cat. Don’t ask. It’s just my thing.

My foster family went on vacation recently and I stayed with a sitter. Y’all. It was the BEST. I got spoiled rotten! More freedom, more love, more belly rubs. Turns out, I thrive with a little space and a LOT of affection. (Also snacks. Let’s not forget snacks.)
