TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN!

Bluebonnet may have a late opening this morning due to the weather. With all this rain, I'm not sure who is going to be able to get into the office and when they'll get there. Please do not risk your life trying to bring your baby to us this morning! Wait until the weather clears up, please! Your precious pet would not want you to be hurt or incapacitated in any way. Call 1st to make sure we are open. Stay safe!!

Now Hiring for Cremation Tech

Job Duties Include:

- Helping with intake of animals and cremations. This involves getting the remains ready for packaging. Helping delivery drivers off loading and occasionally walk in clients.

- Keep accurate daily records - (Keep daily machine logs.
(Time/temperature/weight/date) On each machine.

- Need to tag animals correctly.

- Read tags before cremation.

- Able to put animals in the freezer and take them out to complete cremations.

- Checking machines every 30 min to see that everything operating properly.

- Need to be able to clean out the machines.

- Keep work areas clean.

- Positive Attitude.

- Warehouse Duties - Keeping general upkeep of the work area.
Please ask questions if you are uncertain about what todo.

- Should be able to lift 120lbs. This is a labor intensive position. Need to be capable of lifting.

- Keeping Phone Usage limited for breaktime or off the clock hours.

- Starting Pay - $16 per hour

Bluebonnet Pet Crematory will be closed Tuesday due to the inclement weather. Please do not try driving in the icy or snowy conditions that are being reported. We should reopen Wednesday, but check the news for current conditions and/or call before driving out. Stay safe, keep your pets safe and stay warm!

WINTER WEATHER!!!

Please take care of your pets! It doesn't matter if your dog or cat prefers to be outside. It is too cold for them to stay out. Find a way to bring them inside where it's warm. If it's too cold for you, it's too cold for them, as well. Check the temps around your birds' enclosures and make sure the heating lamps in your reptile's terrariums are at optimum. Keep them out of drafts. Keep your babies safe!

We are so sorry! Part of our staff has been out ill and has just recently come back so we will be submitting the photos to our outside judge for review and we'll let you know by next week. Thank you for being so patient with us!

We are just "batty" to announce our newest photo contest for Halloween! 👻🎃 We want our clients and followers to have some good, "spooky" fun and submit photos of your babies.

All pets can enter - dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, hamsters, ferrets, bunnies etc. - in their costumes, with or without owners.

The rules are simple, post a good, wholesome photo that shows your pets in all their Halloween "spirit". (Please do not place your pets in any sort of danger!) We will have an outside source to do the judging. The deadline for all submissions is October 31st!
Prizes will be announced!!
