Good evening everyone! I hope everyone is having a great season so far and with gun season in full swing give a little update. I know I haven’t been very active as life has been busy and with the relatively recent engagement we are putting all the pieces together. I apologize and wanted to let everyone know that yes I am still doing euro mounts. I currently have 6 that I am working on! Things have been slow as I didn’t get the first deer this year until the last week of October. So hopefully as gun season keeps rolling I will get to see some more familiar faces! I could def use some more with the cost of these wedding shenanigans 🤣 hope everyone stays safe and shoots straight!

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals! Hope everyone is enjoying family time and being around the ones that mean the most. Thank you everyone for another supportive year doing heads! Finished up a few last week. Couple firsts for me. Had a buck that the front 3 teeth on both sides were loose and come to find out they lose baby teeth just like humans around 18 months and have a full adult set by 2.5 years. Also got in my first “vampire buck with Canines! Pretty cool to see. I have 5 in the freezer that will be coming out tonight and start to get to work on them tomorrow. As of right now that’s all I have left unless I get some straglers. I know of a couple that might come in yet but weren’t pressed for time so I should be wrapping everything I have up shortly after the new year! Have a great holidays yall!

Happy Thanksgiving yall! Thankful for all of you that have trusted and supported me these last couple years! I was able to get 6 cleaned up and drying this morning after the short delay over the weekend. I have 6 more that I will be trying to get started the next day or 2 and have a bunch of whitening to do come next week. Hopefully that will get me caught back up. These cold temps are going to make it a little tougher but I think I’ll be able to get it all done. Hope everyone is eating lots of food and enjoying time with the ones that mean the most!

Little announcement for those that have a head with me! Had a little bit of a family emergency yesterday evening and ended up with my lovely lady in the ER and being admitted over night. I was planning to get the first 9 heads I have boiled and cleaned today but I have to put that on hold as we don’t know when she will be released at the moment. We head down to Indy with our daughter tomorrow for a doctors appointment at Riley’s and I’m not sure when we will be back. If all goes as planned I will be attempting to get them done throughout the week. It’s not as ideal with working my normal job and it getting darker earlier in the day but I will do my best to get them going as quick as possible. I hope everyone understands and I apologize for the delay but family needs come first. I appreciate yall. If anyone needs there head back sooner than later let me know and I will try to do that separately from the rest to speed up the process up.

It’s been a busy few days of skinning. Things had been slow as I expected to start the year. Then BAM in 5 days I got 9 heads in! Yall are the best and I appreciate the support. Have had several people refer or share my contact info to others and it means a lot to me. I have a long weekend coming up and will be doing my best to have these 9 in the final stages before it’s over. The following weekend will also be a long weekend for me as well so if you or someone you know has a deer they are looking to have done please reach out and get them in asap! Happy hunting everyone!

Hello everyone! Hope all the youth had a good hunt last weekend! Just wanted to give an update coming into the regular season. It’s looking like it’s going to be a tough one with EHD hitting the area heavily. Reports are coming in left and right and just in the group of people I talk hunting with countless deer have been found. Hopefully some of you still have a few your sights are set on for the season! With that being said between cost of materials and finding that it was slightly more time consuming than I anticipated last season I will be bumping prices up slightly. I will be charging $120 this year instead of $100 like last season. Also to add to that I will have a few more panel and mounting options for those of you that wish to get something to display it on. I know several last year asked for a darker option so I will be having some panels done in more of a walnut color to give that option. I also can get the metal signs that I posted last season that look like a tag and can be notched specifically for youre haven’t and done in just about any color you want. Those will be priced accordingly if you would like one. Lastly I will be up charging $25 to anyone that bring in a head that is already rotting and full of maggots. I know things happen but if you are on the fence about what you’re doing with your trophy please treat it as if you would be getting a shoulder mount and please freeze it! I can’t count how many heads last year I got in that already smelled terrible and as soon as I would start skinning them maggots would be falling out left and right. It’s not fun by any means so please help me or any other taxidermist out for that matter. We would appreciate it. I’m looking forward to hopefully another great year as last year exceeded my expectations! Good luck to everyone in the woods. Aim small miss small! Can’t wait to see the BBD’s
