Today recognizes and celebrates the Juneteenth holiday. On this day in 1865, Texas became the last state to free its slaves after the Emancipation Proclamation issued 2 years prior. The struggle for freedom of course continued well past this date. Today the holiday recognizes the Black American struggle for freedom and equality, and celebrates how far they've come ❤️

We will reopen at our normal hours tomorrow, Friday June 20th 9-6 and Sat June 21st 9-2 🐾

⚠️ LOST CAT ⚠️
This friendly, male cat was found at the corner of Hector St and Poplar St. He is not microchipped. A kind local resident is holding onto him for the time being.

Despite the downpour, we had a great time at Whitemarsh Township Day! Thank you to for hosting this amazing family event every year 🐾❤️ raffle winners will be announced on Monday!

Spending a day off with a different kind of fur baby ❤️🐾🐐
Fun goat facts:
1. They are herd animals! They will be depressed without their friends so if you're thinking of getting a goat, you'll need three or four 😄
2. Goats love to climb! They love structures like ramps and platforms, and this comes from being mountain animals
3. Their pupils are horizontal which allows them to see 320 to 340 degrees, compared to about 120-180 degrees for humans. Talk about some side eye! 👀

This picture is the definition of warmth and calm ❤️🐾😻 Our little old lady loved having company today on our first Saturday open! Phyllis and her sister Phoebe enjoyed walking around in "the back" and soaking up the sun in the break room. What a nice warm day 🌼🌱 Happy Spring!

🐾❤️Saturdays!! Work all week and wonder how you'll get your pet to the vet? It's been long awaited and overdue, but we are now open every Saturday from 9AM-2PM for the community's needs! We are so excited to be able to offer additional office hours for our clients and the community!

Starting in just a couple weeks, we will be offering Saturday appointment hours every week!

In the next couple months we will also start offering extended hours on Tues, Wed, and Thurs evenings!

OWNER HAS BEEN FOUND!
This sweet girl was found wandering the streets by one of our amazing clients and was brought to Spring Mill! We are keeping her safe and comfy, but if you or someone you know recognizes this friendly girl, please give us a call or stop by with identification so she can make her way home.

Deanna joined Spring Mill Vet over 2 years ago before our doors even opened! She joined me in my minivan as we did housecalls from all the way to the outskirts of the and we met amazing clients and patients ❤️🐾. Today is Spring Mill's 2 year anniversary of doors opening (2/15/23), and as I watch my 'baby' grow, Deanna is off to get ready to welcome her new baby! Join us in wishing Deanna all the best with baby #2 almost here!! We love you and can't wait to meet the new bundle of joy 🐣
