Here's a short video of some screen recording from last night's search for Koda, a shepherd who had been on the run for 2 days! We searched a large wooded tract behind a new build subdivision with no luck. We stopped and thought maybe he doubled back, as he had been seen in the area just a few hours prior to us getting out and in the air. We were right! We were able to locate him near a larger retention pond at close to 1am! Unfortunately he is extremely skiddish and shy to his new owners, as he has only been in his new home for a few days prior to this. While we were able to locate him, we were unable to capture him and get him home at the time of this flight. The positive news is we know he is still in the area, and hoping he will cooperate soon. Another powerful example of how useful of a tool these thermal drones can be!
