🐾 Bella Has a New Update — and a New Chance at Finding Home!

Hi, friends… it’s Bella again. 👋💛
I’m still waiting patiently at the kennel, but today I have one small piece of big news:
✨ I now have my very own online adoption listing! ✨

That means even more people can see me, learn about me, and—just maybe—fall in love. I’m hoping this helps me finally find the family I’ve been dreaming of.

Here’s my profile ➡️
https://post.rescueme.org/25-12-05-00173

I’m still the same girl you’ve been rooting for:
🐶 Friendly
🐾 Good with other dogs
🧠 Smart and eager to learn
💛 Full of love and ready for a forever home

Being in the kennel for so long hasn’t dimmed my heart. I still believe someone out there is looking for a dog just like me. Maybe seeing my new listing will help them find me.

If you or someone you know has been searching for a furry friend, I’d be so grateful if you’d take a look — or share my profile so it reaches the right home. 🧡

🙏 Sharing truly helps more than you know.

🐾 Why Do Dogs Lick People? Here’s the Real Reason!

Ever wondered why your dog insists on giving you a full-face bath the moment you sit down? 👅😂
According to InterestingFacts.com, dogs lick humans for a few key reasons:

💛 Affection — Licking releases endorphins that help dogs feel calm and connected.
👀 Attention-seeking — Sometimes, they just want you to look at them!
🐕 Instinct — In the wild, puppies lick the faces of adult dogs as a way to bond and communicate.
🍗 Taste — Yep… sometimes you’re just salty. We don’t take it personally.

No matter the reason, one thing’s clear:
Your dog thinks the world of you.

At G4H, we understand these little behaviors — the lickers, the leaners, the cuddle monsters, and even the “don’t-touch-me-I-only-came-for-snacks” types. Every pet communicates differently, and we’re here to love them exactly as they are. 🐶❤️

Holiday Decorating Tips to Keep Your Pets Safe! 🐾🎄

As we dive into the festive season, it’s important to remember that some of our holiday favorites can pose risks to our pets. Here are a few decoration safety tips:
1. Tinsel and Ribbon: These shiny, dangling decorations can be irresistible to cats and dogs, but if ingested, they can cause serious digestive blockages. Opt for pet-safe alternatives or place them out of reach.
2. Lights and Electrical Cords: Twinkling lights make your home feel magical, but they can be a hazard if chewed on. Prevent accidents by securing cords with protective covers or keeping them well out of reach from playful pets.
3. Candles: Open flames can be dangerous around pets that might knock them over or singe their fur. Consider using battery-operated candles for a cozy, safe glow.
4. Holiday Plants: Popular plants like poinsettias, mistletoe, and holly add to the holiday spirit but can be toxic if ingested by pets. Choose non-toxic decorations or place these plants in areas pets can’t access.
5. Ornaments: Avoid placing fragile or edible ornaments on lower branches of your tree. Glass ornaments can shatter and cut paws, while edible ones can entice pets to jump and potentially topple the tree.

By taking a few precautions, you can create a festive and pet-friendly home. Stay safe and enjoy a worry-free holiday season with your furry friends!

Is Your Dog Considering Legal Action? ⚖️

We came across this very serious legal notice from Hound, Wolfe & Chase: Attorneys at Paw… and honestly, some of your pups might have a case.

Did you recently:
🔸 Break a treat in half and pretend it was whole?
🔸 Spell W-A-L-K without actually going?
🔸 Open a cheese wrapper without sharing?
🔸 Fake-throw the ball then hide it behind your back?

Your dog most likely has taken notes. And possibly screenshots. 📝📷

Thankfully, G4H specializes in out-of-court settlements.
Daily walks, extra cuddles, belly rubs, and full treats (no halves allowed) — we make sure every pet gets the love, attention, and fair compensation they deserve.

Call us before your dog does. 📞

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Buddy is home safe & sound after 3 days, 15 hours :)

Please spread the word for this lost dog. Buddy was LOST on November 29, 2025 in Conroe, TX 77301 near Beach Airport rd, shady woods market, cartwright Rd.

Message from Owner: If anyone has seen my black/brindle colored lab/pit mix, please DM me. He escaped last night sometime before the storm. One of my daughters forgot to close the gate earlier in the day and not knowing, I let him out back in the yard at 9pm. An hour later I noticed he was gone. He goes by the name Buddy. He’s a friendly boy but will run away if you try to run after him. I fear he may have gotten far because he loves to mark anything and everything in sight. Please email me at [email protected].

🌧️ Rainy Day Reality

Cold, wet days like today make it tempting to stay wrapped up in a blanket…
but your pets still need their walks, playtime, and routine. 🐾

Whether they love splashing in puddles or absolutely refuse to touch the wet ground (looking at you, tiny dogs 😆), keeping them moving helps reduce stress, boredom, and pent-up energy — even on gloomy days.
For future reference, G4H drop-in visits are a great way to make sure your furry family gets the exercise and attention they need during cold fronts, busy seasons, or long workdays.
