Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the beginning of summer.It is a day set aside to honor the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of this country and the freedoms we so often take for granted.

Because of them, families gather freely.Children play safely.Flags wave proudly.And everyday moments we cherish remain possible.

Today we pause to remember those heroes who never made it home—and the families who carry their memory every single day.
