How precious are these baby red squirrels, they have been with me for 10days now and are doing well.

Raising babies requires dedication and commitment, these babies are eating 0.5ml every 2hrs around the clock, but come release day, it all worth it!

Sometimes the big bad world is just too scary. This little skunk was put out for release with 10 other skunks...but he wasnt brave like the others, he hid in the carrier trembling. Sometines this happens, hes just not quite ready to go yet. We will take him back and try again in a week or two.

I was sad to see this sweet princess go, she came in a few weeks ago after being hit by a car. She was groaning in pain and couldnt close her jaw. With much TLC we got her all healed up, she has a gnarly scar on her chin to show off to all her friends. She was truely a wonderful patient, just the sweetest thing, very cooperative and, for a change, didnt ever try to bite me haha. She knew i was there to help and that i had yummy snacks for after each treatment session. Hate to see you go princess but love that your going home

This little guy beat the odds! He came in 5 weeks ago covered in maggots, he had several deep bite wounds on his body that had allowed hundreds of maggots to get inside his body cavity and live deep inside his wounds, eating him from the inside out.

Typically once this happens the animal is too far gone to save. Maggots are devistating, in just a few days they can eat their way into a living animal and eat them from the inside out.

This little guy looked at me when he came in and he had fire in his eyes, he wasnt ready to go...so i decided to keep fighting for him and see what happens.

Countless hours every day for 6bdays i picked maggots out of his wounds, wound flush after wound flush and all the while he just let me do my work, like he knew i was there to help.

Healing was slow but he made a full recovery, all of the maggots where removed from his wounds and the wounds started to close. He started to gain weight and had perked up considerably.

He was a great patient, so polite, just a joy to have around...but he told me he was ready to go home now🌳🌈🌲

Have a great life little dude!♥️

Today is the day the stinkers return home♥️🌈

All of these skunks came in as orphans, many hadn't even opened their eyes yet...

Raising wildlife is exhausting, stressful and time consuming. It demands every minute of your time and takes no holidays or weekends off.... But life is a journey and i got to see theirs, i watched them crawl back from the edge of death, watched them grow and thrive, all leading up to this moment, the moment that makes it all worth while.... that moment when they run off into the sunset🌲🦨🦨🌲🦨🦨🌲

They grow up so fast😭...off to go take on the big bad world

These opossums only weighed 30grams and where only as big as my finger when they were brought in as orphans, pulled off a dead mom who was hit by a car...now they are eager to taste freedom🌈🌲🌳🌲

GOOD LUCK KIDDOS!
