🖤 To be in the presence alone of this gelding is truly something special. We couldn’t be more proud to offer BLACKLIST, a 2020 jet black gelding sired by LATE NIGHT STOPPER and out of an own daughter of Smart Little Lena. Late Night Stopper himself was an NRHA earner of $100,000+ and is siring exceptional offspring that excel from the reining to the roping. “Torro” excels in any aspect that is thrown at him, standing just a tick under 15 hands, he is the kind you could stare at for hours, the presence Torro carries is truly one of a kind and he gets noticed everywhere he goes. He is a true dream horse with a mane that flows past his neck and a gorgeous thick tail to match. Besides his jet black color, Torro is a conformationally correct, heavy built gelding with a big hip and shoulder.
Fully trained in all maneuvers, Torro is push button, he has been enjoyed by seasoned professionals to the most inexperienced riders. He is one that can truly plus all maneuvers! He is a huge stopper, lay your rein on his neck and say “whoa” he will give you a big deep slide stop every time. Torro is automatic, he has great spins, circles on a draped rein, and is extremely confident yet attentive to his rider. Torro has been successfully shown in the reining, he is automatic and loves to work, effortless lead changes, flawless transitions and is extremely soft in every way. He always aims to please and gives 100% try in every task that is thrown his way. Torro is showing promise on the head side that is hard to come by. He has a ton of run, reads the cow throughout the entire run, strong to the horn, and is great in the box. Torro has all the qualities it takes to make a great one, and he is well on his way. He would be a true standout in the rope horse futurities and is the ideal size for a World Series barrier. You would be hard pressed to find another that is as correct and flashy as he is on the head side. Torro will work a cow and would be a true standout in ranch versatility classes as well. Truly a point and go, Torro will cross any bridge, downfall, logs or water with ease, all while being attentive to where his feet are. Torro has packed kids of all ages on the trail, and in the arena. He is extremely patient and forgiving, and a huge confidence builder, no matter how much time he’s had off. Torro genuinely loves people, he will literally run to meet you at the gate. He is a dream to clip, shoe, bathe, haul, etc. and just genuinely loves attention. We absolutely adore this gelding, he is in the prime of his life and ready to make someone’s dreams come true!
