Hey everybody! As many of you noticed, our schedule was abruptly interrupted this week.
First of all, thank you SO much for everyone’s patience and understanding as Justine and
Deanna frantically rescheduled the entire week.
Second of all, thank you to Justine and Deanna for holding down the fort during my chaos.
Third…the story. This may be TMI but for those of you who think I went on a sudden “vacation”, this part is for you. I am not on vacation this week. As I type this, I’m still feeling the effects of anesthesia so this could get interesting🤪. I woke up Monday with severe abdominal pain and vomiting, which landed me in the ER. After several hours and lots of imaging, they discovered a large cyst on one o***y and a ginormous cyst on the other. The imaging was impressive to say the least. Seriously, I named the ginormous cyst; it was Lucifer. Today, I had a follow up with my OBGYN. What we thought was going to be a “get to know Lucifer and his friend” exam and develop a plan of eviction, turned into surgery TODAY, which I was not expecting but happy to jump on that surgery table and get that cyst that could rupture at anytime out of my body. So I’m going to be out of the office for the rest of the week. The next two weeks I will be on light duty; no farm calls, no lifting and no rowdy patients. If you need an appointment for something that fits that criteria, Justine and Deanna can get that scheduled. Please don’t be offended if you get scheduled out a bit; there’s just some risks I can’t take.
The office will be open regular hours for over the counter sales and scheduling.
Prescription refill requests will continue to be filled but be sure to call them in and allow some time, as usual.
If you have any questions, call the office and the ladies will be happy to help you.
If you have an emergency that is beyond the scope of care that I can provide over the next two weeks, PLEASE seek care elsewhere…seriously, your fur babies’ health is our priority and my feelings aren’t hurt if you have to do what’s best for them. Justine and Deanna are happy to send records if needed.
Thank you everyone for your understanding during my recovery!❤️🩹
