This is a very difficult post to make….I'm sure there are a lot of you wondering about the future of Split-Tongue Exotics & it's time that I finally fill you all in. Yes, we are indeed struggling & have been for a little over a year now. I'm not the person to accept defeat without a fight, but it has become a real challenge these past few months.
With inflation completely kicking our butt & the expos not bringing in much profit, it's just been a real struggle to keep the utilities paid up.
Our overhead is far exceeding our sales & we just can't seem to scrape by much longer. Admitting defeat is not one of my strong suits & not something I take lightly. With that said... losing something I have worked so hard on, poured my whole heart & soul into, is a very heart & gut wrenching feeling, not to mention all the customers I feel I will be letting down.
I do not have a definite date on when we will be closing our doors, but it will be within the next 2-3 months.
I've postponed making this post over a hundred times & I feel I cannot wait any longer as I see no other way out of the crisis we're in.
