NH Gives has come to a close, and we're overwhelmed by the support of our community.

In just 24 hours, you helped raise $22,355 for animals in need.

Whether you made a donation, shared a post, volunteered, or encouraged others to give, thank you. Every act of support helped make a difference.

Because of you, animals like Jack, Tadpole, Uno, Ellie, and so many others will receive the care and second chances they deserve.

From all of us at Pope Memorial SPCA, thank you for standing with animals in need. ❤

After months of living outdoors, Wilbur came to us with wounds that needed treatment and care.

Because those injuries were of unknown origin, he is currently completing a four-month rabies quarantine and remains in our care.

For months, Wilbur will rely on our team for medical attention, daily care, food, enrichment, and a safe place to heal.

Stories like Wilbur's are exactly why our Medical Fund exists. Not every animal needs emergency surgery—some need weeks or months of ongoing care before they're ready for the next chapter of their lives.

NH Gives ends in just 30 minutes.

If you haven't made your gift yet, there's still time to help provide care for animals like Wilbur.

With less than two hours remaining in NH Gives, we'd like you to meet Ellie.

Only a few days ago, Ellie arrived in our care with a serious injury to her hind leg and an abscess on her face.

Right now, she's receiving veterinary care, treatment, and plenty of attention from our team as we work to give her the best possible path forward.

When animals like Ellie arrive needing help, we're committed to giving them the care and support they deserve.

Ellie's story is still unfolding, but thanks to supporters like you, she won't have to face it alone.

NH Gives ends at 5 PM today. If you've been considering making a gift, there's still time to help animals like Ellie receive the care they need when they need it most.

We're in the final hours of NH Gives!

A few weeks ago, Uno underwent surgery to remove an eye that never fully developed. While the procedure was successful, she still needed medications, fluids, appetite support, and close monitoring from our medical team before she was back to her playful kitten self.

Today, Uno is doing great—but stories like hers are only possible because supporters make medical care available when animals need it most.

Thanks to our incredible community, we've already raised more than $20,000 toward our $25,000 NH Gives goal, and earlier today both matching gifts were fully claimed.

We're now just $4,505 away from our goal.

With only a few hours remaining before NH Gives ends at 5 PM, there's still time to help provide medical care, surgery, medications, vaccinations, recovery support, and second chances for animals in need.

Thanks to our amazing supporters, we've completed the Triple Impact Challenge.

But we're not done yet.

There is still $2,480 available in our Board of Directors matching gift, meaning donations can continue to be doubled while matching funds last.

When Tadpole arrived from a partner shelter in the South, something wasn't right.

He stopped eating. He barely used the litterbox. He seemed tired, weak, and withdrawn. As the days passed, it became clear he needed more care than anyone expected.

Tadpole received veterinary treatment, medication, close monitoring, and even time in a foster home so he could get the extra attention he needed while we worked to get him feeling better.

Slowly, he began eating again. His energy returned. The bright, affectionate cat we knew was still there—and little by little, he began to feel like himself again.

Today, Tadpole is doing great and he's now available for adoption.

Some animals arrive needing only routine care. Others, like Tadpole, need a little more time, attention, and medical support before they're ready for their next chapter. Your support during NH Gives helps make that care possible.

Good morning—and happy final day of NH Gives!

Today, we'd like to recognize the incredible veterinary team behind so many of the animals' success stories.

Whether it's performing surgery, administering treatment, monitoring recovery, vaccinating newly arrived pets, or helping diagnose complex medical issues, our veterinary staff works every day to ensure animals receive the care they need on their journey to a loving home.

Over the past year, they have cared for animals like Annie, Jack, and countless others who arrived needing everything from routine medical care to lifesaving treatment.

Thanks to your support of our Medical Fund, we're able to provide that care when animals need it most.

NH Gives ends today at 5 PM. Help us finish strong for the animals—and the team working tirelessly on their behalf. ❤

💙 NH Gives has been underway for two hours, and we're so grateful for everyone who has already given, shared our posts, and helped spread the word.

Meet Jack. ❤️

Earlier this spring, Jack arrived at Pope Memorial SPCA after months of unexplained gastrointestinal issues and significant weight loss. Despite previous veterinary care, he wasn't getting better, and it was clear he needed additional medical intervention.

Diagnostic testing ultimately revealed the cause: a blockage in his intestines. Emergency surgery removed the obstruction and a portion of damaged intestine, giving Jack the chance to heal.

Over the following weeks, Jack received medications, specialized nutrition, ongoing medical care, and countless hours of monitoring from staff and volunteers.

Today, Jack is healthy, happy, and back to doing what dogs do best.

Stories like Jack's are why we're raising funds for our Medical Fund during NH Gives. When animals need diagnostics, surgery, medications, recovery support, or other unexpected medical care, the Medical Fund helps ensure they receive the treatment they need.

Thanks to generous matching gifts from our Board of Directors and supporters Jim & Carol Zablocki, the first $5,000 donated during NH Gives will have triple the impact.

NH Gives is happening now through 5 PM tomorrow.

🎉 NH Gives is LIVE! 🎉

For the next 24 hours, you can help provide the care homeless animals need to heal, recover, and find loving homes.

This year, every donation supports our Medical Fund, which helps cover everything from vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery to diagnostic testing, medications, treatment for illness and injury, and ongoing recovery care.

💚 Thanks to the generosity of our Board of Directors and supporters Jim & Carol Zablocki, the first $5,000 donated during NH Gives will have TRIPLE the impact.

We'll be sharing more of Tadpole's story tomorrow, along with other animals whose lives have been changed because this care was available when they needed it most.
