It is with great sadness and regret that I have decided to not reopen Clippin' Tails for the foreseeable future. I don't know if I will ever reopen or if I find a different path I am supposed to be on. This decision was not made lightly, but with rates as high as they are currently, and the aftermath I am dealing with from closing my salon in April, this is just what is best right now. I will miss each one of your babies and the friendships I've made over the last 4 years.

About a week or so ago we received news that our sweet baby boy Ridge crossed the Rainbow Bridge unexpectedly. We loved him so much and will miss him forever.

Today I received news that our sweet little Taffy also crossed the Rainbow bridge this morning. She was the sweetest little old lady and was always so well behaved for her grooms. We will miss our little Taffy.

May both of you run free at the bridge and keep a look out on your families. You both took a part of our hearts with you.

Hey everybody. I just wanted to pop on here and give an update. I have not found a new spot for the business. I have looked at a few online, called and emailed a few places just inquiring about pricing and such. To no surprise the rent prices at these places are through the roof, the cheapest I have found was 7000 per month, which we will not pay that. I know that God will show me the perfect spot, but, I cannot rush into this again. I am praying I will find something that I am able to buy. Although many places that I could potentially buy are at least an hour away from concord. Don't give up on me ya'll, I need all of the prayers and support I can get. We've only been closed a week and it feels like forever already. We really miss all our babies and our amazing clients.

Tomorrow is our last day open. At least at our current spot. I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support over the past 4 years. We've had many ups, but also many downs. This is bittersweet. This was my first real big girl space, we've made great memories. Also, our mom used to come with us to work daily to help keep kiddos. I found out my grandmother passed away while I was in this space and my mom passed away while I was in this space as well. We've had clients move away, some pass away, etc. It truly has been a pleasure seeing your families grow over the past few years. I do hope and pray that we find something soon because this is tearing my heart to pieces. Many of you don't know, that over the past 4 years in this space, I have made absolutely nothing, just to keep the place open. I took on two other jobs at night to replace my income from the salon. I will not be grooming for the time being, I need time to find somewhere else, and just to heal my spirit. I have put my whole life into grooming and my kids. Please continue following us on our social media because that is where any and all updates will be. I promise when/if we reopen it will be better than ever. As you find other groomers while we are closed please let me know and I will give you the notes of your pets grooms to either you or your new groomer. Again, Briana and I truly thank you for the past 4 years and we look forward to our future

I have been fighting so hard for the past year to keep my head up in my business. I haven't been able to really pay my rent and everything since mom died... I received a letter today saying I have 5 days to pay all of my rent... which I know I can't do. I guess this will be the last week of Clippin' Tails. Idk what to do to be honest. I've asked the landlord to use the upfit money towards my rent, they wouldn't until I was totally caught up... so I wasted all that money on something that is being snatched away from me. I've tried to get loans and I can't get those. I've tried to get people in the salon and I can't even do that anymore. I've tried go fund me. I feel sick to my stomach and such a disappointment to myself, my kids, my dad, and all the clients that have been with me through all of the crap I've gone through. Thanks for a decent 4 years clippin tails... we almost made it 😭😭😭

We received some sad news. Our sweet shaggy has crossed the rainbow 🌈 Bridge. Gina groomed him for the past 7 years. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. Fly high sweet Shaggy! No more pain, and you can be wild and free like you used to be!
