Hey everyone sorry it's been a crazy couple of weeks here for our little rescue, we have so much to update on, thank you so much to those that donated litter and canned food we have no idea who you are but thank you it was such a blessing.

Hey guys just wanted to give an update on tatanka he is fully healed all the scans came back clear were very excited and happy that this baby is back to where he should be!

Here at our rescue after 12 years of taking care of our Roscoe P. Coltrain He has finally found a toy he loves, we tried everything spent money he never took a liking until a plastic cracker wrapper wound up in there bc of a cat and he just loves beating it up haha! And then he goes and tells his "wife" (his mirror) all about it and struts around the cage! He has got to be the most Interesting bird we have ever seen, for a pidgeon.

Our rescue is need of donations to help as we here and B&B pay out of pocket to care for these babies, here is a list of what is needed if anyone would like to donate:
Blankets/towels new or used
Jar meat flavor baby food
Cat food is always a welcome donation
Scoopable Litter as well
Cat beds
Toys for them is also a welcome donation as well as treats
Also being that we have a bird here at our rescue food for him and bedding is always welcome.

Good morning everyone! Happy Holidays! We're are posting a long over due Tatanka update, he's out of his splint and is making a full recovery, has full use of the leg and we are so happy and thankful to our vets! They are absolutely wonderful!

Tatanka is home and doing well, turns out his pelvis was fractured but his hip is surprisingly fine, he said with how it fractured it gave the appearance of a dislodged hip, he's in a splint, vet said he'll be out of it in 3 weeks and gave home care instructions. The vet said he's amazed that he was already up and trying to be mobile right as he came out of surgery. We said yep thats our boy! Thank you to everyone whose asked for updates the surgery was 315 total. He's currently cuddled up to Barbara his emotional support human, and his fellow fur babies and they are happy that he's home ❤️

Tatanka update: he's out of surgery, it turns out his hip wasn't dislodged like it seemed his pelvis fractured causing the hip to seem displaced, they said that will heal on it's own over time, his other leg has been splinted due to the fractured in one of the joints in his leg, he's out of surgery and will be back home in a couple of hours will post and updated picture once we have him home. Thank you again so much to all of the incredible people who have asked for updates, and have been so kind throughout this situation. We will be sure to update on him as he heals.
