Notice: We Are Not Accepting New Clients at This Time

We want to take a moment to explain why our practice has temporarily stopped accepting new clients. This decision was not made lightly.

We truly understand and sympathize with the many pet owners in our community seeking care or routine services. However, Dr. Cheryl and our dedicated staff are currently operating on very full schedules, with appointments, especially for surgeries, booking several weeks in advance.

Over the past few months, we’ve done our best to accommodate new clients, but doing so has placed additional strain on our team and increased wait times for our long-standing, loyal clients. To maintain the high standard of care our patients deserve, we’ve decided to pause accepting new clients for the time being.

Please Note: Existing clients are still welcome to bring in new furry family members; we simply cannot take on brand-new clients at this time.

We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support.

🐾💕To end our National Vet Tech Week, we'd like to introduce you to our Lead Technician Courtney! 💕🐾

Courtney is a recent graduate of Saint Francis University. She graduated with majors in Psychology and Biology, with minors in Fine Arts and Animal Assisted Health and Education. Courtney has been working in our office since July of 2020, but she was well a part of our team throughout her High School journey volunteering at our office. Theoretically, she has been a part of our team for 9 years now! Her dream goal is to be a Veterinarian, she recently was accepted into Saint Matthews University School of Veterinary Medicine and Saint George University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is reapplying this cycle to Vet Schools that are closer to home, but we would like to applaud all of her accomplishments. She would like to pursue Small and Large Animal Veterinary Medicine, with a love and devotion for all animals that she meets. One of her favorite and most intriguing memories at our office is an exploratory surgery where we found Plastic Easter Straw and a Nose Ring inside a dog's stomach.

Courtney’s favorite animal is an elephant, and her dream is to one day go and volunteer with the African Conservation Experience and work with these beloved animals along with many others.

When she is not working she likes to crochet, listen to audio books, puppy sit, travel, and spend time with family. This past summer she traveled across the whole UK and Ireland, and made a pitstop in Paris!

We’d like to thank Courtney for all her hard work this past year and taking the lead to ensure our office strives.

🐾Happy National Vet Tech Week!🐶

Today we are featuring our newest team member Gary.

Gary previously worked at a vet office before joining our team. He’s been in the field for a little over 2 years. He became a Vet Tech due to his pull towards working with animals. He loves being around them and creating a more positive influence on their wellbeing. He also loves how the career field gives him a sense of purpose and fulfillment. “The most rewarding part of my job is seeing an ill patient be brought back to a healthy and happy state. I wish every animal seeks the proper medical care and guidance.” One of his funniest work memories was at his previous clinic. They had an office cat named “Atticus” everyday without fail he would greet him by hopping up onto the counter and greeting him with head buts. He said that it always made his day.

His favorite animal is a shark, “They absolutely terrify me, but intrigue me at the same time.”

When Gary is not working you more than likely find him spending time with his friends/family, at the gym, hunting or fishing. These are his favorite times to destress.

We’d like to thank Gary for all of his hard work, dedication, and willingness to learn new things!

🐾🐈‍⬛️Happy National Vet Tech Week!🐕🐾
During this week we will like to introduce you to our lovely staff members!

Today we are featuring our Receptionist Paige.

Paige has been working in the field for less than a year. She became a vet tech due to her love of animals. She loves being able to help others animals, whether they are coming in for an annual check up or a wellness visit. She was not sure what she was expecting at first entering the field but she is glad that she has found it. “One of the most rewarding parts of this job is to help the animals and the owners. I get to work with great people who treat the animals like their own and it is another great aspect.” One of her memorable moments during her time with us was when she went to get a patient in the back kennels after a dental procedure. He ended up biting both her and another of our technicians, and he only had 4 teeth! Although it hurt at the time it is a funny memory to look back upon.

Her favorite animals are cats, she believes they are very intelligent and interesting animals. Especially her emotional support cat, Milo.

When she is not working she likes to go to the gym and meditate to relieve stress.

We’d like to thank Miss Paige for everything she does for our office and for always having a bright smile.
