Support local non-profits and explore the Mid-Ohio Farm on the Hilltop at Shake the Hand that Feeds You, a fundraiser dinner hosted by Slow Food Columbus on October 19th.

Proceeds will benefit the Columbus Slow Food chapter, the Mid-Ohio Farm, and local food producers dedicated to feeding our community.

Last week, we celebrated the grand opening of the Mid-Ohio Farm on the Hilltop. The MOFC One Team, community partners, donors, local leaders and other supporters came together to mark this important milestone.

Guests heard from Mid-Ohio Food CollectivePresident and CEO Matt Habash, Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-3), Columbus City Councilmember Melissa Green, Hilltop RISE Chair Betty Jayne, The Wendy's Company Chief Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Officer Liliana Esposito, and State Representative Adam Miller.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Tuesday. Your unwavering support is helping us grow something special in the fight against hunger here in central Ohio. We’re excited to continue this journey together, exploring new ways to innovate, educate, and sustainably nourish our community while making every acre count. 🌱

The Mid-Ohio Farm at NBC4 continues to be a valuable resource for our community and a hub for education. This Tuesday, we had the pleasure of hosting 20 children from the Riverview International Center apartments.

The kids got hands-on experience by planting pots, nurturing small plants, and learning about the vital role bees play in our food chain. It was a day of growth, discovery, and fostering a deeper connection to nature. 🌱
