Cucumbers supplied by Fresh Start Produce and grown by Bedner Growers continue to be associated with a widespread Salmonella outbreak. Additional products containing Bedner produce, such as sushi and salads, are also being recalled. If you're unsure of the source of your cucumbers, it's safest to discard them. Mini and English cucumbers are not associated with these outbreaks.

An outbreak of Salmonella infections traced to cucumbers from Florida is growing. As of May 30, 45 people across 18 states had been infected. Sixteen

Salmonella Outbreak: 26 people were sick in 15 states with 9 hospitalizations. Cucumbers may have been sold individually or in smaller packages. The types could be labeled as “supers,” “selects,” or “plains.”
