Good morning, I want to let everyone know that 9-10-25 I will be having a hip replacement done and will be off for about 6 weeks. My daughter will be operating the kennel for boarding and she will be able to do baths and nail trim if the dog isn't too difficult. I have openings between now and September 10th for grooming. If you are needing to get your dog groomed I would try to get on the schedule.

Yesterday I posted that I was going to start boarding again. It makes me feel really good at the response I have gotten. ❤️
I really needed to take some time to grieve, I feel better and ready to take care of your fur babies again.
I also have my daughter Lacey helping me. Wilson's Kennel has been operating since October 2001 and has always been family owned for almost 24 years...let's see if we can do another 24. 😊
Bring the barking back!! 🐾🐾

I have good news... Wilson's kennel is going to be boarding dogs again starting May 12th. We will be taking reservations for this summer. Hours for drop off and pick up will be Monday through Friday 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
On Saturdays hours will be 8:00 to 10:30 on Sundays hours will be 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. 812-378-5261 call or text to make a reservation.

Another deshedding done on a very hairy but very sweet german shepherd named Kyzer.
The hair on the towel is all the hair we rinsed out with just the bath and deshed solution.
His fur feels so soft and silky.

Hair was flying everywhere!! Great Pyrenees Maverick was a gentleman while he was being dried. Next time we do this on the back patio.

Shedding season is here. I offer a deshedding treatment, it's a bath and then a deshedding conditioner is applied. When the dog is dry he or she will get a thorough comb out. It gets rid of a lot of unwanted hair. I'm also going to start offering blowouts.
I am accepting new clients and ready to schedule.
I am also selling homemade treats, $5 a bag or four bags for $15.

Good morning everyone! I have been making dog treats for the last year just as a hobby and my dogs absolutely love them. These treats are all natural and no preservatives added. I have decided I'm going to start selling them. The price will be $5 per bag or four bags for $15. I have blueberry Greek yogurt treats, and strawberry Greek yogurt treats, I also have peanut butter and pumpkin flavored treats and sweet potato and carrots treats available. Yesterday, January 11th, my sweet husband Curtis Lucas passed away. He's been battling cancer for over a year and a half. He fought so hard. Curtis had a true love for the kennel and all the dogs he took care of over the years.... I desperately miss him working here with me. He was my partner in life and work partner and we worked very well together. He was very passionate about dogs and he loved working with them.... They all loved him too. He is going to be so missed forever and always.
