5 Weeks Old!

The puppies are now 5 weeks old, and I absolutely love this age. Their little barks as they play with each other are the sweetest sounds. They’re starting to show their personalities more each day—curious, playful, and full of sass!

Mom is starting to wean them, and the pups aren’t too happy about it. Even after gobbling up their puppy food, they still try to sneak a little drink from her. It’s such a fun stage to watch as they grow more independent and expressive.

Next week, the pups will be heading back to our favorite vet for their 6-week checkup and vaccinations!

We still have four puppies unspoken for—each with their own sweet and spunky personality. Little Aurora is already spoken for and will be heading to northwest Montana with her new family the second week of July.

We’re soaking up every moment with this litter before they start their next adventures.

Karina’s first trial experience to cheer on her grandfather. By next trial she will be ready for her puppy appitude test in NASDA. I’m so glad I didn’t quit the sport. My dogs love it too much. Thankful to Jessica Clough and Angie at Montana K9 Sports for letting me judge and let my dogs play!!
