Our office/lounge has gotten quite an upgrade this year, with high-speed internet, a USB-C dual monitor docking station for those days when you need to work from the barn, and additional boarder storage.

A massive thank you to the Windsor Stables boarders for going above and beyond on this spring's barn cleanup day. I had to be out of town for a funeral and had tossed around the idea of rescheduling it, but they went ahead without me - deep cleaning everything, fixing gates, chainsawing fallen trees and rearranging the entire office/lounge to make it work for us better. You all are incredible people, and Windsor Stables wouldn't work without you!

Welcome to Windsor Stables Sue and Nykur the Icelandic horse! We really have quite the interesting breed mix on the property now with two Welsh Cobs, a Paint, a Paint/Morgan cross, a Thoroughbred, an Arabian and an Icelandic 🐴

THANK YOU for teaching us how to rehab and maintain our almost 7 year old TruTex arena today using just the tools we already had and a borrowed tiller. It has gotten more easily compacted over time as the sand particles have broken down (some of which are 18 years old!), and it feels like walking on a cloud after about six hours of hard work today. Can't wait to ride on it!

A heartfelt thank you to our boarders and their significant others for spending an entire Saturday (in the rain!) getting the barn ready for winter yesterday. We deep cleaned the entire barn, created a large "donate" pile, made improvements that will streamline our day-to-day, and performed maintenance that will make our lives easier when the snow starts flying. You all are the best!

Team Windsor Stables made the most of our weekend with ! It was so amazing to see the changes in the handlers/riders and horses, and across such a wide range of breeds, skill levels and training levels. Kate focused not just on what the horse was doing, but how the horse/human pairs were communicating and whether it made sense to the horse on a horse level, which had such an immediate impact on the relationships between the pairs. Best of all, everyone had FUN! What an amazing clinic!

Boarding Openings in Columbus, IN

2 stalls available beginning December 1st. 12x12 matted stalls with automatic waterers, indoor + outdoor arena with TruTex footing, heated office, and tack room, bathroom, trailer parking, feed & grain 2x/day, etc. This all-adult barn operates as a modified co-op, and boarders are required to cover feeding/turnout shifts for up to 7 horses a few times a week, as well as cleaning just their own stalls every day in exchange for a boarding rate of $375/month.
