Update on Dr. Gregory's dad, Lynn: no body or remnant of clothing was ever found throughout the extensive searching of hundreds of official and volunteer individuals. All those efforts were well appreciated , as well as the countless prayers. Due to the unique circumstances a memorial service was delayed, but has been set for April 26 at 11 AM in the Labette County High School cafeteria. ( That is in Altamont.) My sister Kolette noted that initial rescuers were a bit unequiped for the situation. A fund has been set up at Labette Bank (any location) as "LA\ Emergency Response Fund". The donations will go toward the purchase of an underwater drone with ultrasound and camera that can be used in high speed water rescue or recovery. Plans are for it to be kept in a central location in SE Kansas to be available for multiple counties. We are at peace and have faith that are father is gone from this earth and in heaven. We do not wish for any other family to wonder where their family member's body is after disappearing in a water tragedy. Other contributions can be through The Gideons International memorial bible donations. Nothing is asked of anyone. I am merely trying to satisfy requests. All are welcome to the memorial.
