Located in Red Lodge MT.
5 yrs old gelding.
He is 14.3 hands.
Both his sire and dam are gold classified halflingers.
I have owned him since he was a foal.
This classy gelding has been started right.
He has been used extensively in the mountains on many overnight trips. He will go wherever you point him he is sure-footed and confident on trail.
Winston has a lot of natural talent he is always willing to learn something new and a lot of fun to work with.
I think he would do very well at most western disciplines.
He also shows a lot of potential for jumping or dressage, however I have not yet started him English but he has been ridden on the bit some.
He bathes ,clips, loads, stands tied, easy to catch, good for the farrier.
Easy to catch and enjoys being around people.
No vices or medical issues.
Winston just passed his vet exam for health and soundness on. 7/7/25
I would recommend him for an intermediate to advanced Rider,as he is still young.
