Barb is not only a good client but she is one of our employees mother. After 3 years in remission Barb was re diagnosed with breast cancer. She recently underwent surgery and is home recovering but she has a long road to recovery. Our hope is to help alleviate some stress by making things as easy as possible for her and her family. Anything you can give or do to help is greatly appreciated. If you would like to make a meal but are unable to deliver any food can be delivered to the clinic and we will ensure that it gets to Barb and her family. ❤️

The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office would like to announce the retirement of K9 Jari after a 7-year career of service to the citizens of Bartholomew County. K9 Jari will retire to the life of a family pet with his handler Deputy Brandon Sellers and will reside with his family.

Law enforcement K9s play an essential role for our Office in several aspects including drug detection, suspect apprehension, and public outreach initiatives at the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office. K9 Jari and Deputy Brandon Sellers have over their years together been involved in hundreds of law enforcement actions.

The addition of K9 Jari to the Sheriff’s Office was made possible in 2019 after Janet Buchanan, a private citizen, made a sizable donation to our K9 program. The Sheriff’s Office would again like to thank her for her contribution, which led to such a large impact on our community.

Deputy Sellers is continuing his law enforcement career with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office as he returns to his home county. The Sheriff’s Office would like to wish him good luck in his future endeavors and for him to continue to what has been a successful law enforcement career here in Bartholomew County.
