Back in 2011 Animal Control brought us a 4 month old kitty who had survived a house fire.

His little nose and paws were burnt bad and his hair was singed, but he was a tough boy and fought hard and pulled through. And we fell in love! So he stayed!

Mr. Fuego entered our lives in a fury and left in the same way.

We will miss his loud purrs, rubbing on our legs and covering us with his fire orange hair, ordering inventory for Joni by stepping on the keyboard, we will always be looking for you laying in a basket or next to your girlfriend Miss Kay or just hanging out with your brother Copper!

Fuegs, you were the best clinic kitty and we are so thankful we got 15 years with you!

We love you Bubba 🧡

4-H'ers put so much care and love into their livestock and we are thankful we can be there to help any animals that may need a veterinary check!

Meet the sweet man Jekyll! 🖤

Jekyll is here today for his last round of heartworm treatment and wanted me to give you a message from him.

❤️🪱 Indiana is considered a moderate to high risk area for heartworm disease.

It takes one single bite from a mosquito 🦟 for heartworms to be transmitted to your pet.

Symptoms of heartworm disease can range from a mild cough to decreased appetite and fatigue after physical activity.

Luckily heartworm disease is 💯 preventable with monthly treatment 💊

And even though preventative may be given during higher risks months like the summer time, it should be given year round and annual testing be done to catch breakthrough cases.

The good news is Jekyll has done great with his treatment and will make a full recovery, but he wanted me to make sure to give you all this information so none of his friends have to go through the weeks of treatment ☺️
